  • ur a freakin legend....who do you work for?

  • I did it, it´s great. Thank you!

  • Thank you so much for the tutorial, I'm doing this right now and loving the results. I don't have a dslr, but my camera does have a setting that allows me to achieve this effect. I'm so glad I finally decided to try this out!

  • On weeeeeed!

  • Why don't you shoot raw?

  • @app411 I do but I'm not a 100% RAW PURIST - I shoot JPEG and RAW depending on the situation. I shoot more RAW nowadays because it is better to shoot RAW than not, but still do jpeg whenever. These images were actually shot in RAW even though it shows it in JPEG mode on the LCD when I'm showing the camera settings

  • i have a canon and i'm not sure they have bulb mode? (not well acquainted with manual mode yet) what would be the equivalent?

  • @hediedforme89 are you sure there is no bulb mode? might wanna check the instruction manual. it is usually the shutter speed right after the 30" one. You don't need it in this situation anyway, only if you needed to go past 30 seconds.

  • @hediedforme89 go to manual mode and spin the wheel in front of the shutter to the left. BULB should appear after the 30s setting.

  • @hediedforme89 I have a canon 550d and it does have bulb mode, right after 30".

  • @hediedforme89 I am using a Canon Xti and it has Bulb mode after "30 also.

  • oh sorry i did not watch carefukky

  • Nice vid bt i dont understand whyyou need the filter why you dont just adjust the shutter speed? Orthe WB?

  • man u have a nice laugh hahha.

  • What kind of tripod where you using?

  • @MrHollywoodDreams manfrotto 055xprob

  • Nice video but can you tell me what liquid you used for this? Is it plain water?

  • awesome idea, just tried it out. anyone have tips on isolating the cd from background (i photographed on black) in photoshop?

  • @sapphirefiredragon to isolate the cd, place it up on a pedestal to provide some separation between the CD and the black background. This way when you use a light from the side the background will be easier to keep dark.

  • Amazing work !!! : )

  • What Nikon Camera do you use???

  • @nathang516 It doesn't matter, but I use a Nkon D300s

  • Thanks for the cool guide!

  • Great pics and tutorial, you'll have a great future in photography. BTW, what kind of tripod is that, how do I search for on the web?

  • @jlafuent manfrotto 055proxb - check out my equipment video /watch?v=_MUM2eyZi5s

  • What tripod were you using? cause I need a better one than my £10 one

  • @masternonoy1 nikon 18-55mm first version

  • so respect work ,i like it so much u ar great man :D

  • Evan,

You do a great job in inspiring people to try new things. When doing your vids try not to huff or puff as it can come across as thought you are bored...Keep up the great work, I hope you manage to make some money from your efforts...as it all costs.

  • saw your photo in Dom Bower's critique :) Nice job!

I'm going to try sth like it :) thank yoy

  • @kris4ety really? can you link me to where you saw it? :)

  • @PhotoExtremist my bad...sorry.The other photo just has the same concept and similar crop but not the same :)

  • You are really inspiring. I think you probably encourage a lot of people to really experiment with photography and not feel restricted by all of the "rules".

  • do you no if you are able to get the bulb mode for the canon 60d to have the shutter release over 30secs

    nice vids

    kind regards

  • @hikinguphigh Type in "Canon 60D Cable Release" into Google.

  • @hikinguphigh I own a Canon 60D too. Just set it to bulb and use a remote shutter (wireless or cable) and hold it for as long as you want. The shutter I have has a lock so you can keep it for a long time and don't even need to hold it.

  • You are the best!

  • Dude, I love your work!

  • Thanks for showing how you got the pictures! Great video! I will have to try it with some different lenses and lights.

  • You should do on light painting but like in out doors

    (with flash lights not sparklers)

  • Very good bro, very inspirational. Thanks. *im going to go thru your old vids now for more :)

  • pretty creative images. thanks.

  • Really nice pictures!!

  • first

  • @reincarnage256 Impressive! You are like a ninja.
