Thank you very, very much for upload this gem!! Pretty good art work !! I was 18 years old when this album was released.. Thanks for the memories as well!!! Friendly greetings!!
Io sono un Inglese di Manchester siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! ma il parole di questo canzone loro sono piu meglio nel`Italiano, l`originale. Ma anche Pete sinfield e un genio io penso.
@ mmmh? Have you heard Zucchero Forniciari? Modena city ramblers? Baglioni? Banco? tutti bene and there is so much more, Mina Mazzini etc oh anche Le orme mmmmh? so much great Italian popular music then we start with Bocelli, io penso le tue parole sono un po mmmh, grande, ciao.
@kewlkatspike I get it now. I knew that Sinfield wrote the lyrics, but until now I thought that he basically translated the Italian version. Oh contrare! Different topics all together. Thanks for the 'heads up'.
it was about 1974 when i heard this tune on 102.7 nyc and went on to buy 4 albums in english and two in italian. did i enter a time warp that did not continue with the greatness of this music? there is much musical talent in the world. Jesus is Lord! edsall
I first heard this song in seventies on a triple vinyl album called "Alan Freeman's invitation to Rock" and fell in love with it. I am so glad I can still hear it today on YouTube, thanks to Musicaldun1!
Uh. . .this track is wonderful. .I was itching to hear it a couple of weeks ago and I thought I would try Youtube - and there it was with 30 plays - ha. .a lot more to come no doubt - thank you musicaldun1

I was actually lucky enough to see PFM play live at the Whiskey on the Strip in Hollywood!! To me they are more reminiscent of ELP

I like this song but, honestly it sounds very much like the Moody Blues who could have composed this 5 years before this one. ;-)
TheRunner75 6 months ago
@TheRunner75 But they didn't! Sounding very much like the Moodies is quite an accomplishment which many have tried, but few have succeeded at.

Il testo Italiano di Mogol, che io preferisco nettamente, è musica a se stante... Poesia.

@gigogi44 d'accordissimo con te, pur apprezzando il lavoro dell'immenso Pete Sinfield.

Magical.. Has there ever been another Italian band.. other than Mariio Marini and his quartet?

@davindo91 Le orme to start with

@davindo91 Do you honestly think that The Footprints are as good as PFM?

Or that Volare by Mario Marini and his quartet has ever been bettered?

It's like a Moody Blues and Yes mash-up. There was a time a while back when I would have really enjoyed this song.

@junkopotomus I spend a lot of time "a while back". NOBODY writes 'em like this anymore! The mellotron seems to have disappeared all together.

@musicaldun1 Unfortunately for those who don't speak italian, the english lyrics try to capture (failing) the same magic mood the original one had.
MetalMike87 1 year ago
@chekpointpasta Yes! It's an english (inglese) version of the song "Impressioni Di Settembre" on Storia Di Un Minuto.
