Just to prove people wrong a non-newtonian fluid is impossible in this situation. In order for the non newtonian fluid to support him he would have to be in constant motion and applying constant pressure to the liquid. Also, non-newtonian fluid doesn't have to be milky. It just has to be in a stable super-saturated state.

Good trick. It is pretty clear that his leg did not support his weight. And there is probably no wire.

I think logical explaination is that there is a black stick on the side that is supporting him (notice that the back ground is completely dark.

When he go through the hola hoop, I think there is a slide of hand which he opens up a hole for the hoop to go through. From the camera angle, it looks like the stick is right above his waist.
