  • verdadero y total blues....sin palabras...que voz..!!!!!

  • Love it!

  • Lo cierto es que se te ponen los pelos como escarpias al escuchar un testimonio con esta validez... Además, un blues perfecto.

  • True blues!

  • i would send denzel wahington from book of eli to kick some butt..

  • i would be scared too if i saw all them ghosts!

  • Saw him live peforming with brother and many others like Muddy Waters sang Soon Forgotten who knows who Rosa Parks was or Medgar Evers ?? I wrote with Rosa and with the parents of Medgar Thanks

  • FUCK THE KKK and racist bitches! band of bastards!

  • thank god those days are gone and all the ignorant little klan are dead and gone

  • Very good video, good blues by Lenoir.

  • i live in alabama, not from here thank god,and i will be moving before these whites try to hang my brown ass!!i hate white people!

  • thank you JB, fucking Alabama and the fucking racists, hope they're died

  • great uploads!*****

  • I am touched for this music and JB Lenoir.

    KKK go to hell forever.

JB LENOIR DIED SOON, THE GREAT AMERICAN SOCIETY DIDN´T CARE HIM.

    What a pity.

    JOSÉ CARLOS GUIRELI FROM BRAZIL

  • FUCK THE KKK

  • KKK=SHIT

    BLUES=AWESOMENESS

  • El blues siempre ha sido uno de los mejores géneros para escuchar y sentir. El racismo solo es un pensamiento ignorante que destruye a la humanidad.

The blues is one of the best genders to listen and feel. The racism is only one ignorant thought who destroy the entire mankind.

  • This is really what blues is all about. IMHO It's really hard for any white blues player to develop a feeling that transcends anything else. Back in the day those great bluesmen used to have each and every reason to write and play a song like this.

Thanks for posting it here! Outstanding music!

  • Absolute classic by one of the all time great blues men

  • I never will go back to Alabama, that is not the place for me (2x)

You know they killed my sister and my brother,

and the whole world let them peoples go down there free

I never will love Alabama, Alabama seem to never have loved poor me (2x)

Oh God I wish you would rise up one day,

lead my peoples to the land of pea'

My brother was taken up for my mother, and a police officer shot him down (2x)

I can't help but to sit down and cry sometime,

think about how my poor brother lost his life

  • Where I find tabs for this music??

  • does anyone know where i can find the tabs for this song

    love it

  • @NothingElseHappens

sorry, but the Youtube won't let me post a link to the tab. Try Googling: bluestab skyrock alabama

That should give you the site with the tab.

Lots of other great blues tabs at that site.

  • Great baby... love it :)

    Greetings From Germany.

  • sweet i've never heard blues and protest put together like this

  • my brother was taken of from my Mother & the Police Officer shoot him down.....

  • Very moving song.

  • J.-B. you were great.

  • Much respect. Thanks for getting this out there.

  • I see the Republican Party liked to have their rallies back then too...

  • @wfarnaby of course

  • @wfarnaby ???

  • @wfarnaby funny you say that when the kkk members were democrats and democrats supported slavery and segregation your knowledge on historical facts is very wrong but then again your supporting the same party as the kkk members lol

  • @Southernjuggalo63 The democrats veered towards liberalism very slightly under Franklin D Roosevelt when he de-segregated the army. Since then the democrats became more and more liberal. This alienated southern democrats opposed to the civil rights movement. The southern strategy begun by Republicans in Nixons era tried to lure votes from these same southerners. Hence why liberals and many minorities vote democrat now and right wingers including many south of the bible belt vote republican.

  • @nemo2000000 well what i said is a historical fact and if people opposed it as much as they say they would have done away with the party and created another one but thats using common sense

  • @nemo2000000 um your wrong the only de segregated war completely with blacks and whites living and working together was the korean war me and my grandfathers used to talk about how in ww 2 the blacks couldnt even live in the same base as the whites

  • @Southernjuggalo63

    white t----

  • @wfarnaby funny it was the democrats that supported slavery and segregation but im sure u forgot that p.s. lincoln was republican and helped settle the issue of slavery lmao stop being ignorant and come to terms with historical facts lol

  • @wfarnaby what is sad is that you and apparently 15 other people think there is a difference between the democrats and republicans....they are no different they just paint two different pictures for you and other to believe in so they can divide us as a nation and to issue in the NWO....

  • @wfarnaby Hello, do you homework, The Republicans were for desegregation at the time!

God... people are so damn stupid and bought off. What a shame.

  • @wfarnaby those were dixie-crats

  • truely JBL was great master of blues and i thank him for his music that can call for memories of tarded cloaked men.god bless u JBL!

  • i live in alabama and when i was 5 me and cuzin where beat up buy a groupe of white men bcuz bt cuzin looks whiteand i am dark and had long hair and looked like a girl so they thought he was dating a black girl so the beat us no joke and this was in the 2000s not 1950 alabama will never change

  • They say America is the most developed country in the world, this song and video clearly show's that it still has a long way to go. There is more racism in america than any other country in the world, and it took 60's Britan to truely realise the great blues masters, and all the while, america had them in their back pocket, what a shame this world can be. :(

  • oooooh, so these pictures are actually footage from the last few days??? now that clears all up....

  • Well considering the fact that the KKK still exists and that Lynchings are still happening and that Barrack Obama is still being dogged with racism, I would have to say that you are an ignorent twat.

  • ignorant??? yeah right.... you know me.

if there was a vote to defeat racism and other crimes against humanity I´d be the first to sign. but a fact is that ALOT has changed in the last fifty years and ALOT is still to change. That´s progression... And I have hope that one day mankind will be able to jump over it´s own shadow and just accept all differences.

  • Great man in a country not always so great.....

  • The video is so touching - the banch of this KKK marching idiots...but the song is masterpiece 5/5

  • Like it.

    Lubie ten kawałek.

    J`aime ca.

  • Temazo.

Lynyrd Skynyrd are heros to southerners and they we not racist. Just because there were a lot of idiots doing stupid shit in Alabama doesnt mean that everyone has to hate being there.

  • Fantastic. Thank you.

  • JB Lenoir is fabulous. Thanks.

  • JB Lenoir the one of most underatted bluesman .... great post

  • I love this man with all my heart

  • HouseJakey ha sido bloqueado en esta página y sus mensajes suprimidos. desde luego no voy a permitir comentarios racistas aquí, en la medida que pueda evitarlo.

  • KKK: Kriminally-Krazy-Krackpots!!!

  • super music

  • FUCK KKK

  • where has this guy been hiding. this is great stuff

  • Well he has kind of been dead for over 40 years. Even still, JB has never got the proper recognition for his contributions and talent except for some other musicians such as John Mayall and Willie Dixon.

  • fuckin kkk but if you go to italy or spain you have the church people with same clothes but because its tradition

  • KKK Is one of most dusgausting things on earth!

  • It seems that the dream of MLK and JB is here now. Good luck american people with your new president

  • Actually we are very far from it, but we have never been closer before.

  • what the fuck?

  • great music I love the Blues!

  • the best blues ever

  • anyone know in what key this is? or where can i get the tabs??? please, you'd be of great help :D

  • It's in G but hes not in concert> It's pitch a little bit sharp.

  • I hope it has changed!

  • sweet home mississippi

  • la pura verdad,,,

  • alabama rocks

  • who was that I got a version by Peter Green and John Mayall and that ain't the one???

  • This song sends a chill up my spine. Love JB wish they had have treated his wounds seriously! 5 STARS!!!

  • Alabama is a very nice place to live now; for blacks or whites. The people are great. There are pockets of racism. I know. I come from one. For blacks, the South may be one of the best places in the country now. What bothers me is that now I see very racist blacks and racist black groups who urge others not to be a part of "white" society,

  • Every action has a reaction..

  • That is a poorly thought out response. I understand why people would be angry but we cannot simply respond in kind to injustices. That does not mean we accept them meekly but your response would mean Jews would go out and kill Germans, Indians would kill all non-native Americans etc. Your response implies an eye for an eye and treating everyone the same even if they did no wrong.

  • First of all, i agree with what you are saying n2thefray66, secondly when people are acting on what they feel, often very strong feelings, they do not have the luxury of thinking like you imply they should. If you were at a club one night, and you saw another guy punching your girlfriend, how would you react? Or if someone was robbing your own mother?

  • Thats a great video.

Did you see the symbolic meaning at the end? All the blacks stood up...

  • fuck the racist sons of bitches....

    god created everyone equal...

  • Strictly exceptional song. Thanks Lenoir to share with us your talent

  • Se agradecen esos subs! *_*

  • this song is amazing. makes me sick kkk are thick twats they need to do some history and work out everyman comes from africa.

  • Gracias por la traduccion , porque el blues esta en todos los idiomas! Thanks for the translation because blues is in all languages!

  • alabama has changed. times have changed. i grew up in birmingham alabama and still currently live there. it is such a nice place now. i love alabama. sweet home alabama home sweet home baby.

  • Hopefully the situation has changed (at least, I hope so ...), because that document was shot over forty years ago ... It would be a scandal if the situation hasn't !

  • it has. it really is such a awsome state. the people are so freindly. and i just love my home state. and even though there where bad people like the kkk. there where good people to. the kkk put a horrific image on alabama and missippi and alot of the south at that time. but they where assholes who coverd up all of the good people down there. and the goverment was so fcking stupid for allowing segreagation and allowing corrupt state goverments to do so and allow all the violence from the kkk.

  • it has changed

  • Thanks a lot for this video and translation. It's always a pleasure of hearing it even if it's so sad, but I think that it was necessary, in 1966, to speak about it by the musical way in order to touches persons' maximum. I hope that ever we shall not have to see this. Ever.

Sorry for my bad english, I'm French so...

  • Your english is better than many here for whom it is their first language. I hope you don't have to ever experience it either. Unfortunately, it seems the US is backsliding when it comes to race relations. :-(

  • This was supposed to be a reply to titi33303.

  • Haunting music but the video can make you sick...

  • The Bluesgod! The Blues is my buisness, and buisness is good!

  • This is fantastic music!

  • what the hell was that last guy sayin??

  • MLK giving his "Free At Last" speech in DC... I hope you aren't American asking that.

  • i mean that last COMMENT guy...(underneath)

  • what about the tree shit that is going on now how many people will help let write to the dam washiton and let them know like they let people in new orleans know cause it was some shit with some lady and the mayor there and i can not belive she still have her job they should have took her ass down and let her see look mat spike leee please people with love and please look at spike lee

  • I'm having a hard time understanding you, understanding 2007

  • kkk is like shit of rats

    NO RACISM

  • anyways, white people are disguising,i am white, but what they done to the black comunity is verry painfull,i hate that ear,and i hate them, black people are human too are blood too,i dont understand why ...Aniwayz...now the song is verry good..

  • Yeah man JB - you showed those klan scum by your humility and singing about the bigotry to the masses.Shame JB's gifted musical efforts have come to the fore really now, four decades later. To quote the film "JB - he was way ahead of his time" - a truly inspiring blues artist if ever there was one.

  • Man i just love jb! Damn they look like each other! You know J.B and Luther King
