  • i want to come back to earth as a tim capello sweat bead!

  • EINES DER BESTEN LIEDER VON TINA TURNER DREIMAL DAUMEN HOCH

  • go tim capello

  • Badassed tune!

  • i bought the soundtrack just for this song!

  • This song always cheer up

  • Dis video is my favorite video of all time

  • Annie Mae hit #15 in Billboard, 11-23-85. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx! Have a great weekend!

  • This one of Tina's best songs of the 80s. I loved it in the opening credits of the Mad Max movie.

  • So great in "Tommy", so great in "Mad Max 3". She should have done more acting.

  • @Hollywoodsteve she was great at playing herself. i think if she acted in straight roles she wouldn't suit it. she nearly got a part in the colour purple, but i think she turned it down. silly girl

  • I wish she performed this song more often! She won a grammy for this song and rarely performed it :(

  • this is tina at her best.

  • play something ton ton, something... tragic.

  • The only good thing that unfortunately came out of this horrible film! How could this possibly follow up after the action and adventure offered in THE ROAD WARRIOR! I was hoping for so much more and it just sputtered in its tracks! Again, great song! Along with a great sax solo by Tim Cappello (who is also featured with his own song and appearance in THE LOST BOYS) Enjoy!

  • @mexicancomic13 are you kidding me? beyond thunderdome was fucking incredible. it had the greatest character development in the trilogy, had higher production value, as much chase scene goodness, and ofc THUNDERDOME. listen to the law.

dont get me wrong, all are incredible, and i rarely watch one without watching the rest, but to say beyond thunderdome didn't stack up is naive

  • @mexicancomic13 ....I totally agree. The Road Warrior will always be a classic in my book, along with The Lost Boys. I didn't realize Cappello was the same sax player in LB so thanks for the info. It's funny, because his appearance in LB came to mind when I saw his solo in this video. I mean, how many shirtless, oiled-down sax players can there be out there...even from the 80's?

  • Another great song by writer Holly Knight. I remember buying her first single on vinyl with Device back in 86...how things have changed since then. Does anyone know if Turner can even play the guitar or was it just for effect?

  • Kick ass song. It's too bad it went unnoticed by the masses. I always thought it was right up there with "We Don't Need Another Hero".

  • Wow! MTV used to show music videos? 26 summers ago for this video. I thought this song was a little bit better than "We don't need another hero".

  • the sax was great

  • good old days of MTV

  • What an original goddess, seeing this jarred my memory about her sax player, Tim Capello as well.

  • Comment removed

  • did they need to get tina pretending to play guitar here?it's so easy to see she doesn't know anything bout plying, and of top of that, does tina turner need to show she can play guitar?hahaha hell no,she's the greatest.

  • Conan on Sax...

  • Great video!! & great song!! the video looks very ROCKK!!!!!

  • I'd forgotten about this one! God she's awesome; the epitome of just fcking cool!

  • in high school i played the saxaphone. despite working out and covering myself in baby oil, i was no Tim Capello. you my good man are what legends are made of!

  • does anyone know the chords to this song?

  • This is probably my favorite Tina Turner song.

  • I love this song and the video rocks.

  • Terrible movie. Tina Turner made this movie halfway likeable.

  • I used to manage a Blockbuster and on early mornings before we opened up, when I was there by myself and needed a pick-me-up, I used to put on the opening credits of MMBT. Even just the minute or so of this song that's used at the beginning of the movie, pumped through the store's wicked sound system, was better than coffee.

  • @DarkRider69 Well The Same Goes here as well She Still pumps me up today as she did in the 80s way cool for you to say that too.

  • @DarkRider69 I can see the seen and know how hot this song would be in that situation. Great comment!

  • CONAN THE SAXAPHONE PLAYER! I'd forgotten about him!

  • Aunty rulez!!!

  • This lady is awesome, incredible

  • MASTERBLASTER RUNS BARTERTOWN.

  • I love Mad Max series, they bring some good childhood memories back to me. BARTERTOWN PREVAILS!

  • pig shit !!!!!!!

  • Timmy Cappello is amazing!!

  • This song is the absolute best, this should have been the main song for thunderdome, it just rocks :-)

  • Two men enter, one man leaves... :)

  • Now that's what videos these days needs more of... oiled up muscle guys with mullets playing saxophones...

  • Tina Rocks!

  • Mel Gibson before the meltdown.

  • Ike was just damn dumb.

  • That's a DANGEROUS sight: Tina Turner with a guitar. She should play it more during her shows, if she can actually play.

  • I'm guilty of watching this video just to see that buff guy play the sax :)

  • @khalidsama Tim Capello ;)

  • I love the version at the beginning of the movie :)

  • This is one of the single coolest songs for any movie hero EVER! I wish it would have been played as much as We Don't Need Another Hero because I prefer this song!

  • Diesel punk at its finest.

  • Totally love this track, it ROCKS, Tina looks hot in this vid, this should have been the main song for Mad Max

  • Sergio!

  • on dec 21st 2012 according to the mayan calender and conspiracy theorists the world as we know it is gonna come to an end so who knows we might get a chance to be mad max for real HAHA :P ok seriously Tina is simply awesome one of the best female voices ive ever heard and the mad max trilogy are classic movies, simply the best!!!

  • @kickboxerforever00= That 2012 stuff is garbage. And I refuse to argue about it any further.

  • @vigo894 There is a new Mad Max movie coming out in 2012.

  • Great song

  • I have not seen this video since the 80's. Talk about a rush of memories. Thanks.

  • One of the living

  • I like her more rock oriented songs like this one.

  • haha amen to that craybee,80's and 90's music knocks todays crap they play on the radio on its Ass lol and tina turner is probably one of the only female rock artists that i can honestly say i love :P

  • Somehow reminds me of my friend finishing his last ultra marathon

  • My favorite Tina song of all!!! LONG LIVE TINA!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @LindaRobertsMusic yeah, this is my favorite song of hers! she just blows me away with EVERY song, but this one almost brings me to tears,it's SOOOO beautiful! I LOVE you Tina! oh,have you seen the movie it goes to? i saw it when i was 8 and i loved it!

  • This song has special meaning to my youth. The words are what my life was my life was in those days and is. Story of my life. For sure one of my favorite songs. Simply the best.

  • Superb song. While not as well known as "We Don't Need Another Hero," I think this is the better song. Definitely one of Tina's best. This blows modern Top 40 music out of the water.

BTW, which version is the one found in the actual film during the opening credits? It's not the same as the album/music video version.

  • I love both this song and the movie so much. Max is a sexy sexy hunk of man.

  • I love this song and the Mad Max movies...........

  • could'nt give a shit if Tina was fat, ugly etc

ITS THE VOICE, IT DOES SOMETHING TO ME

  • This is how good music sounds like! I'm gonna listen to this in the afterlife!

  • One of her best explosive smash hit from Mad Max 3

    Great performance !!!

  • Goddamn I love her voice

  • Lol, back when MTV had music on it....

  • Modern pop bitches could learn from legends like Tina Turner

  • I could imagine Patsy off Absolutely Fabulous dancing to this

  • Tina Turner has the best female voice, and LEGS of ALL the ladies of Rock.

  • did you ever notice that music from the era, there is never a mention of a "bitch" "hoe" or any of that crap.

its just a talented person, singing.

    i love you tina.

  • @brian7125 amen

  • @brian7125 agree completely... it was more adult, all those rockstars, bowie, stones etc. Now its all tweeny pish. i mean why do people above 13 even have knowledge of bieber? Im 28 and havent bought a modern album in 4 years

  • Remember when Tina was all over MTV and most African Americans said she was too "white." Now MTV is saturated with black artists (rap and r&b), and nobody is saulting them for being all over MTV. She's the Queen of Rock for heaven's sake. You think they would be proud that a black woman rules that genre. Either way, she is absolutely superb in any color.

  • simply great. the 80´s are live forever!

  • Ahhhh Mad Max. Probably some of Mel Gibsons Best Movies Ever

  • Terrific song. Perfect for that movie.

  • Wat about the sax player he's a star if you want to hear him with another sax job look up lost boys the movie and check it out

  • @gealaltr no shit, that's him?

  • This music rocks but even better is the lost boy's movie sax player

  • amazing

  • ...Thus, music went on and on until it died in 2005. R.I.P :(

  • Damn, that dude is practically making love to that sax....hes ravaging it, consuming it, pillaging it for every drop its worth.

  • I am a bullet of fire...

  • Hit#15 pop, #41 soul in Billboard. God bless!

  • love this track!!

    FIGHT ON!!

  • lol

  • another killer movie with great music from the 80's this was one of favorite songs from Tina. and she has many great songs.

  • ...always said that the living would envy the dead...

    ...feels like 2010...

  • Great song. Really underated track.

  • One of the best all time tracks.... cheers.

  • Due to the sluggish economy, I can not afford another life beyond the thunderdome right now.

  • i agree with craybee06 and dsccentral....was so much to choose from and music could be fun

  • 3:05 - Sergio!

  • Aren't we a pair raggedy man?

  • 80's music and TINA IS SIMPLY THE BEST!!!

  • Tina rocked it on this Holly Knight-written song. Hit #15 in Billboard.

  • Mad max best trilogy ever, my fav movie

  • mmmmmmmmmm......

work those hips with that sax, Timmy baby -

    WOOF !!!!!!!

  • sigh. 80s music makes today's stuff seem so boring. wtf happened?

  • @craybee06 hell yeh the old stuffs miles better

  • @craybee06= The world turned stupid. That's what happened. The Living do envy the dead now.

  • @craybee06 Agreed.

  • @craybee06= The world went stupid. That's what. the living do envy the dead now.

  • @craybee06

It was a carryover from the 70's. Great music, but then it got so corporate that most the true artistic input went away.

  • @craybee06 Everything from the 80's kicks ass compared to the stuff we have today. Who needs Crysis when you have King's Quest? Who needs Iron Man 2 when you have Die Hard and Mad Max?

  • @craybee06 POP WILL EAT ITSELF. That's what.

  • @craybee06 , thank you. Finally, a kindred spirit. The music of today is so contained. Music in the 80s was this overwhelming wall of sound; big and expansive. It just jumped off the radio. I was only a toddler when they ended but I miss the 80s.

  • @craybee06 End of the Cold War. Back then, we lived twenty minutes from fiery death every moment of our lives. Tends to bring out the creative spirit.

  • @pchapman905 Rubbish! America came a lot closer to "fiery death" in the 60's, when we actually had nuclear missiles poised and ready to launch at us. That never happened in the 80's, and no piddly "It MIGHT have happened" from the peanut gallery, because it didn't.

  • @NightShiftDaddy2 Yea, but I seem to recall there was some good music out of the 60s too. No it didn't happen, but we didn't know that at the time. Stop being a boomer chauvinist.

  • @pchapman905 LMFAO "Boomer chauvinist!" I love it! Actually, I missed being a part of that generation by a scant two years, and I don't mind that a bit.

In any case, you missed my point; I wasn't talking about the music, I was talking about the distorted and totally wrong version of history you were presenting.

  • @NightShiftDaddy2 Yea, I'm handy with les mots juste, but whatever Herodotus, I'm just telling it how I remember it.

  • @pchapman905 As am I.

  • @craybee06 Be more nostalgic, forget being open-minded.

  • This is what pop music never is.

    Fuckin awesome

  • @dsccentral hmm, I wonder if there is a change going on in the music-bizness

  • Powerfull song of my child's times... Amazing Tina and Gibson!!! And thats true... i miss the V8 Interceptor, i want a car like V8...

Son fan de la trilogía Mad Max!!

  • DAMN!!!! Sing that song Tina!!!!

  • Great song from a great film!..and yes I was a kid when the mad max films came out.Mel Gibson is and can only be mad max. This new mad max movie sounds as lame as all the other new movies there putting out.COME ON MEL NOCK OFF THE CRAP AND BRING BACK MAX. Man I really miss the 1980s.All these crappy remakes suck the big one! It would be really cool to see an older Max come full circle..maybe save the day and then settle down to more happy life.Like Rambo going home!...you know what I'm saying?

  • NO fucking Max without Mad Gibson!!!!!

  • fuck the 4th mad max movie.. Mad max isnt mad max without mel gibson.. He should return for a 4th mad max!! Why not playing an elderly mad max??? fuck the studios it will be bullshit

  • Dont fuck with tim capello ;)

  • One of my FAVORITE songs by the Queen of Rock! Happy (Very) Belated Birthday, Tina - Luv u! Please come back in concert again! :)

  • shes one smoking hot woman.

  • dude that sax guy is from the lost buys!!!

  • Which one?

  • She did very well in Mad Max : Beyond Thunderdome. I love this song and I hope to get the trilogy of Mad Max since it's my top 1now. Forget Star Wars it's 4th on my list now since i've seen Judge Dredd and Demolition Man.

  • I'm jealous of her legs! But still- love you, Tina! You're a great powerful lady!

  • Mel Gibson is not goin to be in the 4th installment of the Mad Max movie's :(

  • Then I ain't paying to see it. There's only on Mad Max. And he is a lethal weapon. Mel Gibson is on my top ten favorite actors list.

To me this fourth film is just a fanfic with Major studio funding.

Man, I miss the V8 Interceptor.

  • What the studio bigwigs should do [but they won't]: make the 4th Mad Max movie BUT put Gibson in it as the FATHER of the new 'Mad Max', that he and Auntie Entity had.

  • id have to say one of mel gibsons best movies he needs to go back to the earlier time of his carrer

  • You know they are in the process of making the 4th installment to the Mad Max series? I just hope Mel Gibson returns. He is one of my favorite actors, and it sucks he hasn't done anything recently.

  • He's to busy being the ultimate catholic.

  • Love this over the opening credits of this truly visionary movie!

  • her BEST song ever and of course me favorite...love you always Tina !

  • Why do I like the beat so much? Especially the first 15 seconds or so... It speaks to a primal part of me. I want to move to the jungles of Borneo now.

    P.S. - Chicken dance at 3:15 - 3:20

  • This one should have defintely been on her greatest hits cd and wasnt. Its one of her best.

  • Ja,Algatrasz, war mal 6 Jahre Gast da.

  • This is f*n 100% pure power!

I reckon this song is written to Tina (thinking about Mad Max 3) and there is no - one and there will be no - one like Tina singing that song

It's the serious shit, I am astounded.

Always been a fan of this girl and this song really brings out her's true self

  • Incredibly awesome song. Tina Turner is by far one of the best entertainers ever.

  • Timmy C is a bad dude!

  • EEhhh Yay, Yay Yohoooooooooo!!!!! I love this!! Chilren of the 80s forever and probably one of the last generations of great music!! (well the 90s was good to a certain extent).

  • Love Tina. Love the song. That being said, this has to be one of the dumbest videos I've ever seen.

  • This video was filmed at Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia,PA.

    cool song

  • Rocktansky went to far!! and nobody knows if he finds his way home

  • Oh, I like this song! I'm a really great Tina Turner fan! I know this song from her platinum collection 2009! Daniel from germany (Deutschland)!

  • You might be right, Its hard to do without adding to,or end up changing your first impressions of that world. Just saw "District 9" and I liked the raw and gritty look to the movie, the documentary style way of filming it,and Wikus being the "unlikely hero" but in these Mad Max movies, you knew exactly who the hero was going to be at the very beginning, and you knew this guy was going to get things done. Plus I like the evolving situation throughout the trilogy.

  • Besides, Auntie Entity was about as hardcore as you can get. She was a leader in a world of basic anarchy.

  • Your Future...or something like it. Instead of a gleaming green, unpolluted glistening future,This is how we'll end up before we go extinct altogether. Ah hell, but anydamnway...SOMEBODY in the death metal world SHOULD cover this,or have they and ive missed it? A raw hardcore deathmetal cover would do this song well. Or maybe some rapper could ghetto-ize it,because its a good song to use("sample"-"steal" ---same damn thing)bitch about how hard it is to be a multi-millionaire and bang white ho's.

  • I don't think they could pull it off the same way.

  • Yeah, play that saxophone!

  • Que guerrera cantante mas buena y que gran cancion!!!!!!

  • deeply felt

  • A great video, good look, (very hard to find on cd) Thanks for keeping it alive.

  • Who runs Bartertown?........MASTERBLASTER runs Bartertown!

  • just rented the movie...kickass song

  • A power song, absolute enrgy with best singer on top of it!

  • mad max 3 was the best i know i was there in brocken hill where it was made

  • Love him:)

  • No matter how many times I hear this song it gets better. Tina is awesome.

  • Awesome!

  • my favorite movie and songs yayayay

  • "2 men enter, 1 man leaves."

  • "Anybody moves, and they're dead meat!"
