I worded that wrong. Valient Thorr is fucking badass, and their rhythm guitar playing sounds alot like Megadeth, but I think Megadeth is terrible(especially Dave Mustaine).

We did not find them, and at that point most people would want all troops to pull out. Instead, we took the opportunity to take out Saddam Hussein and try to give the Iraqi people some control over their daily lives. If you listen to interviews and read books by reporters, it's a tough job. It's not some magical bureaucratic paper filing. You have to understand, I love the military and war. Watch the movie "Patton". His attitude is essentially exactly the way mine is towards honor and war.

i love the military as well. and war is basically the most interesting thing to learn about. but it is still murdering people. and there is always a more diplomatic solution. everybody flips out when we get threatened, and the only solution we think of is war.

It isn't murder if the people you're shooting at are shooting at you. It's simple, but true. The military exists for one reason, and it isn't the National Guard. I'm studying a degree in War and Society, and you don't appear to know what you are talking about. Wars happen due to combination of poor communication, paranoia and imperialist dominance between states. The United States is one of the most aggressively paranoid states that I have ever seen.

then why are we still there? we know for a fact there is nothing there. its not to rescue them from the harsh government, considering saddam is already dead. and i understand, pulling out now can only cause more problems, but why dont we at least spend more money getting the troops supplies? im assuming you havent been to iraq yet? im sure your attitude will change when you return.
