During the Irish famine 1860's, perpetrated by British policy of neglect,millions of Irish starved or emigrated to survive,

The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma sent food aid to the Irish when they learned of the plight of the Irish.

An enormous gesture when you consider that the Choktaw Nation were themselves made homeless and destitute by the White settlers in America.
