Its an excellent camera, had it for over a year now for taking photos.

Now... the HD video. Ain't that great. Again maybe it's the way I'm using it but it zooms in and out of focus a lot with much background clicking from the lens which transfers to the audio track. A scene with much noise... you won't hear it, filming a quiet scene all you hear is click, click... really annoying.

@TheClayboy123 no it does not, but i got a cool little adapter that lets me put any lens or filter on, it cost £10 and its held onto the camera with screws and has threads at the other end witch i have a fisheye on

IMO the great thing about digital photography is that so much can be automated which truly helps beginners take good pictures. This model and other similar ones have options that program the camera for different situations and settings. And then if you want to take more control, you can use manual overrides. Best part is since they're digital photos - you can delete all the bad ones:) Enjoy!

If you can afford a bit more, have a look at the Canon SX1 IS. It takes FULL HD video (the s2000HD isn't full HD) and the quality of both stills and video is fantastic. Moreover, the Canon has a 20x zoom and you can zoom whilst videoing (this Fuji can also zoom whilst videoing).

There is no evidence to say that the man's canvas prints were taken on THAT camera, they could be professional or libary shots taken with a large format camera.

YES. You can use AF and zoom during filming. However you can hear noice from the zoom. Please see my video response. :)

I'm not 100% certain. However, if this is like every other "still" image camera I've seen that also takes video, that function usually isn't available.

i have this camera and got it thru hsn the thing is tha when i do zooom it the pictures come out blurry and not nice

Since this camera has optical zoom, you shouldn't lose any resolution. But in my experience, zooming in close means you have to keep the camera very steady because hand movements are exaggerated. Try going back to the manual and re-reading the portion about taking zoom photos. That should help.

Since it was so popular, it wouldn't be surprising, though, if Fuji decided to revive this camera's features in a newer model. But we don't have any specific info at this point.
