...the only difference I tire out quicker than before, but I am not a bedding anymore. About a decade passed away and I did not take any medicine. I could actually feel an external force was assisting me, even though I could not see it. People do not believe in invisible things. So, if you are a disbeliever, I suggest ask someone to choke you by the throat to cut off the "invisible" air and then you will have no doubt about an invisible force sustaining you.
Well, I never believed in God or Guru. I became complete cripple in two legs that had no medical cure. I was horribly confined in bed and I was the sole earning member and the outcome needs no explanation. I thus, became bedding--of no use on this planet. Thus undone, I tried meditation several times a day. 1st day showed no perceivable result. On 2nd day I could walk with wife's support. On the 3rd day I could walk on my own with some difficulty. At present I can literally walk miles.....con'd
I have personally met each of the 33 million deities and they totally agree with you. But the fact that we are all one self does not mean that we are not ourselves too. When the drop enters the sea, it becomes the sea. Yet the sea becomes the drop. The sea consists of 33 trillion drops. They are all different and distinct, and they are all the same water.
All moments are divine! Prejudice blinds us from truth. Bliss is part of life, not all of it. Beauty is part of life, not all of it. Pain is part of life, not all of it. Worry is part of life, not all of it. Anger is part of life, not all of it. Awareness is part of life, not all of it. Mastery is a part of life, not all of it. Vice is a part of life, not all of it. .... Just keep moving..... .... Roll WITH the wheel, not under it......
Adi Shankara was one of the greatest seers and sages that ever walked the earth. This summarizes truth in itself....that every religion speaks of in some way or the other and also clears a lot of misconceptions of the Vedic religion. This is the most outstanding poem ever. "Ekam eva adhwitiyam"
This is sung by a lady named Bhanumati (banu didi) as she is lovingly called, she is the sister of Sri Sri Ravishankar founder Art Of Living...amazing voice and superlatively meditative...no words to describe the feeling of it...amazing Jai Gurudev
it seems u have not done the part 1 course by the art of living, do it and the feeling while listening to this song will be with u forever in your life at every moment... just experience it for yourself...and with chants and songs u can buy any art of living audio/video..u will enjoy it definately its available at all leading music stores...but do the course and it sure will change ur life i am sure...
There can't be a more realistic interpretation of God than what Sankracharya Ji has expressed in "Atma Shatkam". God Allah Bhagwan are names of the same, just the languages are different. Hope we see "Allah hu Akbar" "God is great" & "Jai Bhavani" in the same light and same spirit and understand the unity behind this beautiful diversity.
Thats the ultimate truth: Chitt Anand Roopah Shivoham Shivoham ( When the heart experiences that ultimate bliss thats when you have attained the divine)
I don't have any more music based on Shankaracharya's work. But lot of his literature can be found at sanskritdocuments Delete the first 2 underscores and replace last two with dots.

Ah, so the gods don't really, they're just symbolic. Right. That's what they say about us....

The 33 million dieties are basicall different forms of the same divine Brahman.
tha advaita vedanta philosophy recognizes no difference between Brahman and the self.
aksharma123 2 years ago 2
exactly, but brahman does not mean 'god' brahman means our true self which has nothing to do with a soul
