Actually, the "disc" behind her is a mirror. The three weapons that she had was based on the Imperial regalia of Japan. Anyway, Amaterasu is one od my fave characters here and I always use the devout beads as weapons.

Just a little thing from the begining when you tried to pronounce Ammy's name, Ah-mah-tear-ah-su. It's just sort of been bugging me lately because everybody I know has been pronouncing her name really weird, thought I should've said something :P Oh, and is there an Issun based attacked? I thought it's be really cool to see him come out with his little sword and try to kill them X) At least he came out after you win :)

For the record: Okami was originally released on the PS2 and then later ported to the Wii. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was released on the PS3 & Xbox 360. The Wii can't handle MvC3, but got a similar game called Tatusnoko vs Capcom. TvC has Yami has the final boss.

Thats amazing, how they threw in so much stuff from Okami, from the brush strokes and weapons, to the minor details with grass growing under Ammy's feet and the Vine air dash. I loved the level 3 super attack, pulled out the Solar Flare, Tundra Beads and the Thunder Edge. The level 1 super was awesome too, with Fireburst, Blizzard and Thunderbolt. Also, they brought in Issun? Thats creativity there.

Being an Okami fan is awesome. :P

Seriously, if you're going to do a demo, at least know what the weapons and attacks are! The "disc" is a reflector, and the last weapon is a rosary. The first attack is a power slash, the air dash is actually the power vine, in which Amaterasu uses her celestial brush to create vines from Konahana blossoms. Oh, and btw, the fire during her special is the power inferno, and that rosary she uses during the scene is the tundra beads. Yeah..... I know a little too much about Okami Amaterasu.

@DragonFlame1212 extremely close!!! with the exception of the sometimes-silent "u" in "su/tsu", all japanese syllables end with the pronunciation of a vowel. so, the "ter-ah" in your pronunciation would actually be "te-rah". aside from that, your pronunciation is a 10 out of 10! :)

First of all, you said Amaterasu horribly, second the thing on her back at the beggining is called a reflector, and third of all, Ammy would destroy all the other characters instantly if you didn't have to use these horrible combos to unleash a limited set of her skills, killing your thumbs by the end of the round. The super is the Inferno, Blizzard, and Thunderstorm brush techniques! Also, the "disk thingy" is called a reflector. I know all of the official names in Okami, and that flower for the air dash is a Konohana blossom. I really wish the sub-reflector counterattack was in MVC3, for anyone who remembers that.
