On the first three notes of the actual solo (after the breakdown ends), do you find it easier to pick down for each string (G18-B17-E16) or use an alternating pattern?

From the video it looks like its downstrokes but its quite quick so I can tell for sure.

That strat is a custom-made guitar was made at tiny studio in Japan.

Though I wanted to use the 1959, I could not make Randy tone, because I don't have a MXR distortion plus lol!

I used a Peavey 5150 combo.
