Not trying to disrespect the whole christian rock genre but Kutless is the only band that truly hits you hard with their music. Their music always leaves you knowing that Christ is there and present with you in all your problems. I love Skillet and Red but they're nothing compared to Kutless.

@tlthamesfoc they used to be but now they've gone softer. but yes when they were harder they were def the best ones to reach me thru god. now i don't really have any fav christian hard rock bands that can do what kutless did. that being said there are PLENTY of softer artists that god goes thru to get to me. chris tomlin, jeremy camp, passion worship band, etc.

It doesnt matter if the band sings praise the lord all the time to be a christian band. A christian is based on their belief. Not on what they talk/ sing about. Kutless uses christian morals to write their lyrics about. They sing about whats right. Their album Strong Tower was their worship album. most of their other albums are about morals.

And to add to the whole idea of christian music is they may not have the sound of a christian band, for example, demon hunter. Christian metal. They basically put their lyrics into a dark metaphorical sense. They are considered christian because of the fact that they are talking about right and wrong and all that other stuff.

WHY is it, that people find music only 'Christian' when they sing 'hallelujah praise the Lord' ??

I'm happy that Kutless doesn't ONLY sing about that.. they also sing about stuff that matters, stuff that we all go through sometimes. I'm glad they know how to make a good rock song that I can bang my head to withouth worrying about the lyrics. That's what I would have to do when I listen to bands like Korn, or Tool or whatever is out there..

Kutless played an EXCELLENT show in Philly that my husband worked at last October. He met the band and said they were all really cool, nice guys -- totally laid back and friendly with everyone.
