  • First time I hear someone sings Maoz Tzur past the first verse. Thank you so much, its a powerful song for those who know Hebrew.

  • חמוד חחח בהצלחה:)

  • עיברית זאת השפה הכי טובה בישראל.

  • I really enjoy the Jewish music!

  • @Steinfelde2 btw, jewish music is a 100 to 3000 years old, with means music lived in us all the time.

  • Some sheet music would be nice.

  • חחחח @1:50 הם אומרים יבן זונה!

  • Beautiful!!! :o)

  • thumbs up if your watching this cuz of the candlelight video :)

  • This is really great.....first saw you on the Candlelight video! Great stuff! Really good sound!

  • @DelusionsOfGrander you are in REAL need of getting an education and also understanding just how offemnsive your tiny mind is

  • This is great!!! Each song was terrific. I could NOT believe it, though, when you started doing Adam Sandler!!! And the end, I just love the harmony. Thanks so much, and I'll be watching all of your videos now.

  • This is great!!!

  • I really liked 00:54 to 1:20. My favorite part of the melody.

  • @Shadow10570 חנוכת המזבח on yotube

  • as an israeli jew, it makes me really happy to watch such things. you guys are really talented, and if you decide to make an Aliyah - there will be many acapella choirs that will be happy to have you!!!

  • I sang most of these songs by my first grade chanuka performance lol still remember them! o love chanuka

  • @SSNilsson

I'm curious.. Why is it disgusting??

  • @togirl188 yes why?!

  • Nice Job guys!

  • I love that it ends w/ the Adam Sandler Chanukah song! You guys rock. Really. :)

  • It is not because of the Ashkenaz. It is because English speaker have a huge problem pronouncing one sound for one vowel and maintain the tune with just one tone. That is why the first thing the singers learn (at least in the US is to vocalize, since they are unable to do it as first). Hebrew, Spanish, and other languages do not have that problem. An yes, it kind sound awful in many cases. In this case, they balance it pretty well.

  • @gabito27 its the Ashkenazic accent nothing to do with singing or langu

  • I love this!! I do notice a difference in the hebrew pronunciation. They say the ashkenaz ending on words that in modern hebrew are pronounced differently. But still, so nice to hear. I haven't heard some of these songs in years.

  • HAHA you are soo GOOD! XDD

but.... Why do you guys know all the words!?!?!? XDD

  • @linchka101 people who light Chanukah candles sing this after

but also its like asking why you know any song its a song people memorize them

  • Hahahahaha Herbs!

  • I'm rather surprised how the songs differ from the ones in Israel. I guess you have to change everything that rhymes with "sham" to things that rhyme with "po" here. Oh well.

  • @MacBoris1

They also have the letter "shin" for sham(there) written on their dreidles instead of the letter "pei" for po(here) like the israeli ones.

It's quite amuzing if u think about it XD

  • dude i'm having hard core temple flashbacks right now

  • nice!

  • Happy Chanukah!!

  • The Maccabeats ROCK!! Happy Chanukah.

  • I can never be a Jew, no matter how much I want to convert. I have ink on my skin. That does not make me love the Jews any less. They are truly the chosen people.

  • @imprezaracer1999 of course you can convert with ink on your skin. Pre-conversion tattoos are not generally a problem; post-conversion - well, this will depend upon whether you're Orthodox, Conservative or Reform. It is a Jewish custom to try to talk someone out of converting, even if you don't have tattoos. We think it is perfectly fine to be a Christian or Muslim, but you are welcome to join us if you have the calling.

  • @imprezaracer1999

i dont think thats true man...you arent allowed to get tattoos but you could still convert im pretty sure.... you should ask a rabbi if you just heard that from your friend

  • funny, in israel we say "nes gadol haya po", big miracle happened here... they say in the song "nes gadol haya sham", meaning-big miracle happened there...

  • @giladlvy In the Diaspora, our Beloved Israel, always in our hearts and in our prayers, is alas "over there". Chag Orim Same'ach. Shalom always in your heart and your home.

  • It's like the Jewish Glee... love ya!

  • @jsbach15 huh

  • @ gailalong It is Yeshiva University.

  • What is YU?

  • @gailalong It's a religious higher education school for Jewish people who want to become Rabbi's, or teachers of Judaism.

  • @jsbach15 YU is a private, Jewish research University. They offer all sorts of majors, not just Jewish studies. Most students aren't training to become Rabbis either. My bf was an econ major at YU.

  • @babytristansmom dude, i have to tell you that jewish people are very welcoming and not racist, because people have been racist for us for such a long time.

also, jewish people come from all around the world, so we have black jews, asian jews, and also american jews, so we dont care where your from or what is your color or anything like that, were all people. :) also, making guests feel in home is a "mitzva" in the bible, so we are also very generous

good luck in every thing you do,
