  • I really like this routine! love the flags :)

  • haha, show band.

  • ugh! Now this is just sad. Girls in middle school do more stuff than my guard does! All we do are the same like 6 moves in different orders! God, I love our coach, but we need new moves, really bad!

  • i go to east jessamine middle but preform with the high school band/gaurd the shows called the Gunslinger its only the first two songs and it dose kinda suck but we made it all the way to semis sooo that says something we plan on being in state next year i come in during the 2nd song and im always a half count behind on the left side... look up East Jessamine High School Marching Band 2010 then click boyle county please note this is before we go our real flags

  • very pretty flags! but yeah, the girl on the left seems be off count at times but otherwise she gets back on count. a key thing is to know the counts and to KNOW what your doing, especially in a field show for guard when your moving around and can't stay in the same spots forever.

  • Awesomeee.

    That was really pretty!

    Would've been better with tosses.

  • pretty good. love the color of the flags

  • wow so this was your first year of guard when you filemd this? im in my ifrst uear and you guys your rooki year its simply amazing!

  • hey my flags look like that i have a purple one like that and a blue one like that

  • It's nice. I was wondering about the whole tosses thing but I read the comments below. Haha,it's good for beggining work. And the girl on the left is half a second off.

  • sails suck, that was prettty good! and your flags a pretty

  • This is awesome!!

  • that is cool! some tosses would have really wowed me but now i have some cool ideas!

  • It's good.

But you deff need to watch for timing!

  • this was your first year?! you guys must be colorguard beasts now! :o

  • Hey I like this, we didn't have a colorguard in my middle school, but I am going on my second year of colorguard in my high school.

  • our guard has those same exact flags

  • i just got done with my 1st ur in guard

guard is so much fun i would do it for chino guard but its just too much

time consuming but ive learned so much this year

  • WOW!!! THIS IS AN AWESOME ROUTINE!!! Cool flags too!!

  • Omg! You guys are so together in this! But were are the tosses? :(

    this is cute work. :)

  • very cool!! great skill

  • WOW awesom love the colors of the flaG!

  • when you don't have anything to do with your hands, put them where your pocket is. it will make your stance much prettier. very nice routine though.

  • u guys r really good but the girl in the black t shirt is sometimes looking at the other one

  • it was because this isnt our real music so we had to slow our counts down. but thanks. its been like three years. i am now in rifle and sabre as is roxy.

  • That was totally awesome! I start colorguard next week but i've been in pre training and you girls are just sooooo inspiring!

  • wish i had colorguard in middle school

  • that was pretty good :) you guys are lucky that you have colorguard in middle school.

  • im in the colorguard for my high school, yall are great

you had a few sails jusst work on that:)

  • Wow. For middle schoolers to be doing this routine this cleanly is amazing. We have high schools on our squad that would have trouble with this believe it or not. Good job, guys!!!

  • i had no idea that middle schools had Guard! y'all are REALLY good for your age...

how long have you been doing flag before you 2 did this video?

  • probably our 4 month. we are now in fhs guard. three years! haha its hilarious when we both look back and say "how easy was that!"

  • you guys are hella clleann (:

  • you girls are great...I love this routine...that flags are soo cute...but you should try using bigger poles...6ft...better effect...!!!

  • im in eigth grade and i joined my high school marching band for color guard its so much fun ☺

  • Im in the 8th grade and love colorguard(:

    ~letter~

  • Love the flags, for the most part its together and GO MIDDLE SCHOOL!!! Woohooo!! im an 8th grader and im in Marching Band, i started when i was in 7th. (color guard) so YAY

  • i love the flags!

    -UHSflaggirl

  • REALLY nice i love it its simple and flow and you guys are together....i think you should work on harder stuff you guys could do it keep up the good work

  • ur flags r cool =] the color work well for ur routine. god to start youg to. i jsut started this year, im a freshmen and i love color guard. =]

  • wow are colorguard at ms is like doing dropspins and fishes and angles;i got in trouble for doing major tosses at practice:(

  • Way to start young I wish I had a chance to do it that young. Keep it up girls!

  • Since when does middle school do colorguard? lol

  • our high school marching band has to have middle schoolers b/c it's so small....it used to be big up until we got the new band director that doesn't know what he's doing though

  • my school has two colorguards, the high school colorguard and the middle school colorguard, called Jr. guard. It really isn't uncommon for guards to have Jr. guards, it gives the girls a chance to learn the basics at a younger age so you don't have to spend so much time training them as freshmen. the Jr. guard is just like regular colorguards, they still compete in winterguard against different Jr. guards, and some also compete with the band durring marching band season.

  • wow. i so wish they had had guard in middle when i was in school! you girls are good! keep it up!

  • that was cute...just clean it up

  • i would sugest a little bit of timing practice make sure to hit each point together ^_^

  • For the most part ya'll were together.

    There was some watching though.

The music got on my nerves, so I turned it off, just make sure you hit your points.

    But overall, good job.

  • i guess it was pretty clean.

but it was also very basic & fundamental

  • man you make the flags look so light! great job! I just joined color guard year. Been in it for a week and I'm absolutely terrible at it!

  • Good Job.

    Im in guard to.

We have like almost the same flags but ours have green on it to.

but those r simply r practice flags( :

    +P

  • that was really good guy! ;) thumbs up haha im in colorguard too and i love it! ha i like ur flags too super cute :)

  • we have the same flags but blue and gold very nice rutine

  • great job. nice butterfly and twirls :D

  • me being in marching band ive had lots of dealings with colorguard...dont watch your flags girls...!!!! that cant be stressed to much... it was in time though that is a really good thing... put marching with it and it will be a whole different ball game!!!! but over all you did a real nice job

  • girl on the left was watching her flag a lot, its kinda distracting. but it looks mostly together, good job

  • Ur flags are really cute! i like them! ours are blue and white.

  • the girl on the left watches the one on the right alot...it makes it kinda off count but its okay

i love the flags they are really pretty

  • pretty okay.

the girl on the left seems to be watching the girl on the right a lot, which makes her about half a count behind on the whole thing.

and was there supposed to be tosses?

  • Thank you for the feedback.

    This was done our first year in color guard. We are starting our third this year :}

No, there were not supposed to be tosses, this was an on stage show ~

  • @tokyoz6 cool ^.^ im in my first year of colorguard but we hav about 17 tosses (like high ones) but colorguard is so fun :D

  • Good routine.

    Nicee flags.

I wish there was a color guard in my middle school.

I would of sooooo joined. <3

  • Thank you so much :}

  • Nice flag

  • nice flags. its so weird seeing a 5 foot pole. haha.

im in guard now, in high school but

i wish there was a guard in the middle school i went to!

  • realllly nice routine & pretty flags.

    i love this song.

    lol good job!

    (:

  • Thoses are awesome silks!

    Great moves too!!

  • this was really good. what division are you? my video isn't as good because it is a slide show of our competition but you should watch it any way( if you want)

  • This is all pretty good, I just rejoined color guard for my high school, and i really enjoy it!!!!!! Our flags are made from aluminum for pratice and fiberglass mixtures for shows.

  • I'm totally in love with them silks!!!!

  • Great flag work. =]

I just started color guard at my highschool. Freshman to be.

But, not much moving around. My first routine had us across the gym floor and back in the 40 seconds. =]

  • this was just a 'stage' routine, not meant to really use movement and stuff.

if u want to see the marching band/ color guard i am in, u can search frankin high school marching elk grove .... (:

Yeah, i agree to the gym floor..

  • wait a minute didn't you guys do the song lucy in the sky u know with the withe outfits and oroange flags?? that routine was awesome

  • you should watch elk grove they are good

  • at 0:29 to 0:29 what is that move called

  • i think 'around the world?'

  • hahaah i have those same flags. ones green and ones gray. god, we're awesome :D

  • i love the flags!!

  • wow did u guys say u were in middle school? thats really good. nice staying together! :)

  • this was really good! hey what type of pole do u guys flag with, aluminum or fiberglass? if another can u tell me plez?

  • haha thanks! (:

the pole is 5 foot (i know, small, but this was last year at the middle school) and i am not sure what type of pole but I do know that it is not aluminum or fiberglass !

  • not too bad. Good job :)

    I love your silks :D

  • You guys did great! But you should try some tosses. I was looking for something big but didnt find it. Good job though. Keep it up! =]]

  • hi was the one in black and we were doing it on stage. but if you want to see tosses just request it and we will put one up

  • Wow you'll are preety amazing for a middle school gaurd?I can imagine highschool gaurd! A bit of repeating the moves.. but i'm guessing its not your fault, and a little rough in the last minute or two. Overall great!

  • I love your flags!

  • thank you :) ...

    and happy new year xD

  • roxy & navi, too much time together. i remember watching this video before i met oyu guys. i was like weirdos. haha.

  • What? haha lol! that was good times ;]

    xD

  • okay nonweezy your cool. no but i try to get to your account and it says that its closed.

  • you guys are rly good check out some of my guard vids

  • I would have liked to see more body work, like REAL color guards do.

  • its what guards do inside on a stage for their parents

  • the song is Kaali kaali ankhen we thought in went best with music

  • I would be extremely happy if my guard had easy work like that.

    But at least its clean.

  • i like your flags did you buy them or are they the schools?

  • they were the school's silks (Toby Johnson Middle School) ;]

We now are in Franklin High school, so you should watch some of our videos!

  • where is that??? is that in california?

  • Yes.

  • Check out another guard that won 1st place in the North East Colorguard Circut Championships. I was in that guard. Im not this yea tho. The guard is called Patriots Cadet Guard. Just type in Patriots Cadet 08. all of us were in 3rd thru 7th grade.

  • HAHA Bollywood song in the background! Awsome job!

  • This is very good! For a middle school, it's very together. I'd say to the girl on the left to work on her hand and arm placements. That's it though. You guys look awesome!!

  • my shirt kept on getting in the way it felt super weird

  • That was really good, especially since you were in middle school!

I can't get half of my girls together like that (I'm captain of my team).

  • what school

  • Greenbrier

It's nowhere near yours, I promise.

  • aw mannn you guys are awesome.

you're so much more in sync with each other than my school's colorguard x]

  • My sis used to do color gaurd you guy or girls are really good!

  • WOW...You two are really quite together for the most part... Good job.

  • ya i just started a new school year there 7th grade ya!!!!

  • Hey I did to. What is ur name?

  • well what are you ? ex. hornet

  • you guys are amazing! don't let anyone let you down b/c you're young and in middle school.. you guys are good!!

  • i liked it.

our colorguard instructer is in love with 6ft flags. i hate them but since im so use to spinning a heavier flag the 4ft-5ft ones would be all over the place.

  • How tall are those flag poles?

  • They WERE 5ft poles! (lol)

But now we have 6ft poles and different silks!

  • Ah, ok, I was wondering how'd they do middle school guard. Our school system wants to start that. Guard's super fun:)

  • uhmm.. well our band director wanted to just put a color guard together!

  • i think im more entertained by the cars passing by

  • WELL THIS ISN'T OUR BEST, OKAY?? 0_o

  • jerk .

  • You should've put some tosses in...but I guess that, if it was an on-stage routine only, then you wouldn't. Your timing was a bit off, but I guess that that is what you meant by you messed up...:P

  • LoL... YEAH that's what I meant! :)

  • My color Guard silks were red and gold! That was pretty good too! I wish that I could find someone on youtube that does sabers before I have to make a vid of it myself! :D Awesome job!

  • i really like your silks

i had one like it but it was in green

  • I have that silk! It was one of my first flags. <3 great routine for onstage.

  • that looked good...you should put some tosses in. Love the silks!!

  • Thank you! This routine didn't have ANY tosses because it was supposed to be a just-on-stage routine. :D

  • i really like your silks! their pretty xD

  • That is really neat, good job^^

  • those flag designs are really cool i play trumpet but i play with the flag when i dont wanna go home but do yall not toss or somthing

  • Yes... uhm i can actually put up a new video for u doing tosses and stuff!

  • omg here were dont get to do colorguard till

    9th grade omg

  • we were actually going to get 6ft ones in hs hey what schools are you guys from

  • Hey i am in there roxanne see you said you looked bad wow you actually look really good jeese. now me i dont know

  • wow

    it was good.

    those poles seem so litto.

i would not be able to spin a flag that small

    maybe a swing flag.

all we spin is 6ft ones.

    sometimes swing.

  • we're getting 6ft poles pretty soon! : )

  • for our school marching band show we did the music of queens. and we used 6 ft poles for 2 out of the 4 songs. we didnt really perform for another one bites the dust. but anyways- we used 6 ft alot and we're using it right now for a prism concert but just make sure you never use 6ft flags on 4 ft poles -_- our coach gave use those to use and it was terrible she just realized about 4 days ago how hard it was, about half a year to late :D

  • we're going to use 6 ft poles pretty soon! : )

  • very good!!! i love the flags!! im in cologuard 2!!!

  • you girls are good for middle schoolers!! I just have to laugh at one thing 6' flags on 5' or 5 1/2' poles?? lol

  • they are 5 foot poles, but since we're going 2 high school, we will have 6 foot ones! =]

  • ok ok cool
