I remember these guys coming to my town for a live concert. The bands before them were loud and crazy, and I remember the first thing that they did was turn down the house volume. I loved them from that moment on cuz you could actually hear their music and not the speakers crackling and creaking about to rupture haha :) <3

When I was looking for artists similar to Further Seems Forever, I kept getting referred to FoF. I don't see similarities, and musically, I think this band is alright, effective but not transcendant. Yet, I cannot help but be inspired profoundly by what lies deeply beneath the sound of this group. The message in the lyrics and their very existance, delivered in a nice accessible musical package. I don't think I can be a true fan of them like other bands, but I will always enjoy hearing them.

I first saw this over some scene in an ABC TV drama where a girl is engaged, and has to choose between her fiancee and the "other guy". She drives to a house, playing with her engagement ring the whole time, and knocks on the door and you see the back of a guy's head answer the door, but you don't see who it is. Then the show ended. I was running around looking for paper and a pen to write the lyrics down that I remembered and all I was thinking was "Who wrote this song?!"

all of their songs make me picture a child in a car watching as the scenery changes from fields of yellow to green and coasts tinted blue, green and white. the childs facial expression never changes. the wideness of their eyes still hold innocence but the pupils have seen too much. they press fingers against the glass and their eyes blink with fascination and.... and small scars...

i know it doesnt make much sense.. but my emotions just blended and made a picture in my mind.
