A few years back, I was asked to do a few hair braiding videos. I have been a hair stylist for 15 years and have styled my client's hair for "Platinum Weddings" under the Varuni and Minesh episode. First practice on someone else (or a doll or yarn or something). Then, when you're ready to braid on yourself, start with a normal braid. Once you've got that down, you can do something like a French braid and you should really get how to do it. Of course it takes practice to do it perfectly, and your arms can get quite tired.

Hint: Use two mirrors. I use the bathroom mirror and a hand-held one. Stand with your back to the big mirror and direct the hand mirror so you can see the back of your head. You can't do this while braiding, but you can see what you've done after you've braided. Once you get used to braiding your own hair, you don't really need to check (unless you're doing something really fancy, you know, just in case).

I don't think I was clear (sorry): The hand mirror should be in front of you, just above your head. Direct this mirror at the mirror behind you and look into the hand-held mirror--you should be able to see the big mirror behind you IN the hand-held mirror, so you know what your hair looks like.

well that version of french braiding wasnt as good as the one on viewdo french braiding, this one is more difficult to understand cuz you cant see clearly where she is going to do next. but it was very good! ill try it. if i can.
