It's a shame that the DOA incarnation of Ryu is so superior to his own Ninja Gaiden self. It would be so awesome if Team Ninja actually incorporated Tenchu-style stealth tactics and most of his DOA moveset into the NG series. The old hack and slash routine has become too monotonous, now that series like Prince of Persia and Assassin's Creed are around to give you a balanced experience of covert AND overt gameplay.
