Soaring at Monte Cucco is not that fun, especially if the clouds are that deep.

After a while it gets really boring. There are better places to fly in europe!

Of course, for visiters it's really interesting there, because you have a lot to see... in opposite to a really good area, where the gliders start and quickly disappear into the sky.

I'm a helicopter pilot for the US Military and I feel I have one of the best jobs in the world. I can't think of a better hobby to have to go along with it. I watched this video and a few others a couple weeks ago and I find myself coming back about once a day watching it. Anyways, it has inspired me to begin taking lessons at lookout montain in Georgia and I'll be starting in April. I can't wait. Thanks for sharing.
