Sadly, digital pianos are quite light compared to grand pianos, but if you invest in a high-quality one you can at least get close to the hammer action of an upright piano... though even a keyboard can't compare to a really good upright. I've never had the luxury of owning a grand piano, myself.

@keyshuffles I definitely know your pain! I usually have hours of rejected takes for each video... I'm glad that you liked this one, even though I forced myself to not be picky.

As for syncing, I counted "1-2-3-4" in the beginning to make sure both piano parts would start at the same time. I recorded bass first, which keeps a steady rhythm throughout the song, and tried my best to follow on treble. By a very lucky accident, everything worked out! I guess no one can predict me better than me :)
