That's a really harsh call - you can see how much negotiation is required to make small headway, a child cannot be expected to both live in that circumstance, know what to do, and have the emotional capacity to deal with the push back from the hoarding mother ...

Listen to the video and you can hear the girl who is probably a teenager by now laughing and saying this is gross. There is no reason why she can't do some cleaning including washing the dishes and drainer. I have lived with hoarders all my life and I have the ability to clean my house. This whole family needs counseling or this will never go away. I am sure the people don't really want to live this way. Its all too much like Peter Walsh says. Buy the book and give it to the stepmom.
