Never was fortunate to catch a train at this crossing on our annual Ocean City vacation trip, but I figured the train crws probably had more than their share of close calls from idiots who don't know what red signals mean. Ditto for M&D's US50 crossing at Berlin. I did almost catch a train at the Berlin crossing once. Only missed it by a minute or so...

Why people don't stop at railroads when the lights are flashing I have no clue. Even worse is someone going around the arms while they are down. I won't even cross one if it is obviously broken. I once was waiting at one and someone on a bicycle went around the arms. Another time I was waiting on one and someone went around the arms as they were going around a police officer pulled up on the side they was going to. Needless to say the police officer immediately pulled the guy over.

Those cars at the beginning are IDIOTS and should be fined. If the lights are flashing the road is CLOSED!!! You should have gotten their license plate numbers and called the local police and showed them this video! That goes to show how easy it is to get a license in the United States.

Gosh! fourth weird crossing I've seen today! One was WSOR's new car defense gate from England,second was a wierd lighted one in WAsh.state,thrid was a Brigde Cantilever that covered the whole road with no gates,and this one a long muti-lighted cantilever with no gates! how weird?
