" excel saga is as effective as "married with children" wich was PERFECT too ! flcl is so badly done, you easily get pissed of it...

The anime came out at the time for approx the 4th or 5th manga book.
We're now on book 21 and the story is still going. Excel Saga is a prime example of a series being made too damn early. This is why the entire thing is pretty much parody and filler, they simply didn't have enough material to work with. Hellsing suffered from the same problem before Ultimate came out.

The manga is a hundred times better than the dross Watanabe Shinichiro came up with.
