These are two of my favourite artistes. Consider that this is George's song and he's 23 years younger than Smokey so it was brave of him to duet with George. They both have very different styles. George is the more flamboyant singer whilst Smokey is subtle. Try listening to his beautiful rendering of "Just to See Her". Magic.

I Agree with Cdayz007. There is a unique sound underpinning Smokey with George Micheal. It appears George Micheal was being staged for his Solo career. He sounds a little Naked without the voices behind him...but that's what happens when a live performance doesn't take into consideration that A Singer will be without the dvantage of the Studio Background singers or Work.  Yet there's nothing to Slight either Vocalist for here. Smokey sounds fine. Listen carefully at the harmony.
