As muslims i think and believe that it should be universal that when a muslim goes to another muslim country he/she should have the right to work and own but thats just my opinion, on a technical note however, these afghans were actually let in by the zia govt i believe so obiously when they were let in in order to survive they had to do something to live. All kinds of construction/odd jobs were done by them. Some people even hired them as farmers. And i peshawar most bus drivers are afgans, flying coach drivers etc. Offcourse they can't work in offices as its hard enough for even a pakipashtun to get that. However some rich afgans started their own businesses and there is nothing wrong with that.

As far the economy goes, i belive if u take all the afghans form peshawar there will be more jobs than people need. The more the population the more the businesses will boom and the more people will spend money. That is if you take them ALL out. Not just a specific number.
