@Ulver27 Actually the tomb did in fact prove nothing towards this jesus fellow being real, the spear disappeared after WW2, and anyone who has actually taken classes on this would know that the gospels weren't written by his disiplines and I could break it down further but, there is not enough space for that. You may try and do quick google searches on this stuff but, many people including me have studied it and have seen all of the fallacies that it has brought forth.

As for everything else the evidence is quite clear so reject it if you must but know doing so is foolish. The tests for the tomb were done throughout the 1980's to today. You can look any of this information I discussed on either a breeze through google, read the book, or look at when National Geophraphic did a piece on it. @MugiwaraJr When you'll understand that religion gives ONLY one side of the subject called god,power, force, nature, whatever you will understand why its pointless to speak about it and collide religion in it..... Science and religion were once hand in hand you know. You may be against religion (and i think that you have many arguments to support that) but how do you explain that most of the brightest scientists ever walked this earth were (and many are still) religious?

@Ulver27 Actually the majority of scientists and many people in the academic fields aren't religious and although you may feel science and religion once went hand in hand is quite contrary to the facts. Isaac Newton is a perfect example of this contradiction. Religion is just archaic views that have never helped humanity but, actually held us back as a species and I would be willing to sacrifice some of the arts for scientific innovations.

Thankfully however, you aren't into a position to take such decisions as they would affect many people who would be strongly against them. You may not feel into religion but many people are and we should respect their beliefs. For your contradiction let me tell you about three religious scientists. How about Albert Einstein, Lord Kelvin and Fleming? (i have more if you like).

@Ulver27 Now would you like to more specific especially bringing up Albert Einstein. Religion has done nothing for the world that couldn't be done without it and it's as simple as that. If you like having an imaginary friend creepy, but good for. It's when you start thing that that friend has any power over your life and you're willing to do his bidding then it becomes rather problematic.

When greece was under the military occupation of the ottoman empire, there where churches that were used as schools during night and priests that where teaching children. Mathematics, history, art, all under the help of the orthodox church. Their helped greeks to keep their identity over the 385 years of oppression, so in a place like that when you are against religion, there could be many people who could tell you about the benefits of a religion.

@MugiwaraJr Religion except the small charities it makes and its traditional ways (for most of it nowdays is about tradition)...Has one more reason i believe it must exist...IT consists a list of general moral laws that kept many people from being animals....I want these laws written and kept and thats of course my opinion. Religion helped or destroyed countries. It was all in the power of people under it and has nothing to do with god....

About the actions of religion i have just posted an example when it comes to greece. Religion in greece is responsible that the greeks in greece are still speaking and writing greek and thats a fact. For me at least when it comes to greece thats more than enough to earn my respect.

@Ulver27 Actually all of those moral codes have been broken before in the spread of the religious message of "worship my god or die". Also many "animals" are self aware and maintain morality. You still can't name one positive thing that this world wouldn't have without religion.

Another thing that religion gives is hope and not only about god but in humanity in general. Many people have became better as humans and have prevailed through religion and became happy. @Ulver27 Actually I speak completely from a historical standpoint in everything I've said. As far as greece I've already explained that religion isn't needed to be just or help your fellow man. The benefits you've named aren't even associated with religion especially education for religion is the complete oppisite of any credible facts as shown in history and through acheological finds. (the holy spear is at Schatzkammer in Vienna and you can pay it a visit...Looks quite real). We have treaties, and even a letter from Alexander to the people of Chios, engraved in stone, dated at 332 B.C.E. For Augustus Caesar, we have the Res gestae divi augusti, the emperor's own account of his works and deeds, a letter to his son (Epistula ad Gaium filium), Virgil's eyewitness accounts, and much more. This jesus fellow however had none of this. Jesus was fake.

@Ulver27 Actually the tomb did in fact prove nothing towards this jesus fellow being real, the spear disappeared after WW2, and anyone who has actually taken classes on this would know that the gospels weren't written by his disiplines and I could break it down further but, there is not enough space for that. You may try and do quick google searches on this stuff but, many people including me have studied it and have seen all of the fallacies that it has brought forth.

As for everything else the evidence is quite clear so reject it if you must but know doing so is foolish. @Ulver27 A team always does testing never just one person and the reports never detail them except for that they were out of Canada for this specific test. The tests for the tomb were done throughout the 1980's to today. You can look any of this information I discussed on either a breeze through google, read the book, or look at when National Geophraphic did a piece on it. So I backed everything I said yet you will still whine about it. Your prophet is fake with no supporting evidence otherwise.

@Ulver27 Let me remind you that in the past (and nowadays) science have a huge enemy, which was massively interfering with the science progress, when Galileo discover that the world is not flat the Catholic Church & the Pope of that day accused him of heresy, and Galileo spent his life under arrest. Regarding “Theories” as a word, I suggest you to learn the English dictionary. In fact Gravity (and many more ) is a theory . Do you believe in the theory of gravity?

The truth is, the world around us is inconceivably complex. We need to embrace each other's opinions and beliefs so we may gain a better assimilation of exactly what this place is and why we are here. There is amazing wisdom in both Faith and Science.

A good father will not push his children to have sex with everyone, BUT if they do, at least he will try to protect them from diseases. So, really ... do you agree with today church ?
