It affects people differently. I had dry sinus and nose hoping the gas chamber would make me rip snot and get some moisture up there, but it just made my eyes burn and water like crazy and face burned. I caughed like twice and I was really wanting that crap do moisturize my nose so bad.  I think I'm an alien. :( One of my MTI's was right, my mothership needs to land LOL! ;)~

army basic is you gotta break the seal by pulling the mask away from your face , say your last name and last 4 then put it back on and clear , then take it off and last a minute without it , then put your gear on as quick as you can without dropping it then they'll let you out

ive been pepper sprayed before and that sucked sooo bad, it was like 2 hours beforei was back to normal, plus later on it started burning again. Is tear gas chamber worse or not as bad??

They make you do the calisthenics to get you all sweaty, so when they make you take off the mask or if you have a bad seal on the mask or suit the CS Riot Control gas from the capsules on the hot plate burns the worst on moist parts of the body ie nose mouth eyes and wet skin especialy...lol good times in the machine

if i remember correctly you do three different things while in boot camp.....1. break the seal of the mask by lifting it about an inch or so off your face 2. lift the mask off of your face and rest it on your head so that your entire face is exposed and 3. take the mask completely off and hold it in front of you.

I just got out of USMC boot camp on July 18th and when i did the gas chamber in Phase II i could hardly see the other side, the DI riped my mask off my head because i wasnt shaking it hard enough, and i saw probably 12 kids smashed into the wall or thrown to the ground because they tryed to get out, the ones that did get out, had to do it again
