  • someone post this at their forums :D

  • To be fair, the "Dark Brotherhood Forever" quest always repeats itself infinitely

  • TODD PROMISED US DAT DELICIOUS CREATION KIT. DON'T DENY HIS COCK.

  • The "kill a giant", "kill the bandit leader" and "kill the dragon" quests you can get at inns are actually infinite

  • @SogeKami Well... I guess he didn't lie.. COMPLETELY..

  • Actually it has infinite quests... when you play with kids around towns "hide and seek" and the other game where you have to tap another person, it's infinite, you can do it over and over and over and over and over again....

  • CK IN END OF JANUARY

IT IS NOW THE 31ST OF JANUARY YOU LYING FUCK

  • This handsome motherfucker can whisper sweet nothings into my ear all day.

  • i dont know why is this so funny

  • That's true. Dark Brotherhood has infinite quests.

  • @billscorpse and at 1200 gold a pop, its easy money

  • @billscorpse Yeah, infinite quests of you killing irrelevant NPCs. Todd just keeps lying because Bethesda Softworks forces him to.

  • arrow to the knee rite gais xD <3 ^_^

  • @neeskha no. Arrow in the knee. Correct your shit.

  • GUILDS HAVE SKILL REQUIRMENTS

  • What a charismatic man

  • watch?v=BGTPWRiCNdM Beedeeo weesponce

  • Fallout does have 200 endings, we can now look into his eyes

  • Tod exaggerates everything but this wasn't actually a lie.

Fallout 3 does have 200 endings...from a certain point of view.

  • @Gzalzi

    Care to elaborate?

  • @Jyyhjyyh

I suspect he means those sliders at the end of the game

  • "skyrim will have flyable dragons" i really don't count a 10 seconds shit cutscene of a dragon flying into the distance as flyable dragons oh and its only once. GG sir

  • EVERYONE IS TSUNDERE FOR TODD HOWARD

  • There are infinite radiant quests, but no infinite hand-made quests.. for obvious reasons. The radiant quests aren't bad, but they are pretty cookie cutter.

  • @0hypnotoad0 It's not even like those radiant quests are some new feature, either. The first random Companion quest I got, "Go to ______'s House and kill a _____", is straight out of Daggerfall.

  • @ThazuaBlackarrow

Yeah, though admittedly I liked that feature of Daggerfall, even if the quests did lack personality.

  • GUYS!...... at least his games are good...unlike Fable

  • @johnTRAN93

But they are boring and certainly not fun.

  • @johnTRAN93 after about a year when the bugs are fixed

  • @harbourlunatic23 the bugs arent even game breaking

  • lol

  • At least, quest system really annoys me

    //Talk to random people

    //Start: some fucking unwanted quest

//I didn't say I want to take your quest FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUU

  • @CHOCOLATIONZ Bartender: THERE'S SOME SHIT HERE

    *find the shit*

    GOD DAMNIT

  • LOL He never lied wtf.... When asked about it before the game came out he claimed that they arent quests, but rather tasks that will be infinite. no one ever said infinite quests, thats impossible and frankly you're an idiot if you truly believed that.

  • @blacklabel67k Go to bed Todd

  • @darkcowboyhero i loled

  • So true.

  • no todds no masters

  • Ah.. if only I had something worth to add.

  • "as seen on el vidyo"

    i lol'd

    good job mate

  • It doesn't have infinite quests, it just has infinite tasks. Such as clearing out a bandit hideout that some lowlifes found as refuge, or picking flowers for some faggot.

  • i have yet to stop questing for the brotherhood... that seems like infinite questing to me

  • Couldn't figure out how to make it a video response. Sorry.

    watch?v=8rnBZoYnVq8

  • @TheGuyNamedAnon When you click in the comment box look to the right, under "Your Reaction?"

  • @ThePeterLoew Fuck I'm retarded.

  • STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM

  • lol i don't know why but this really made me laugh.

  • Fuck you

  • this is why I don't buy games full price anymore will buy for 2 dollar next chrismas.

  • >As Seen On /v/ - El Vidyo

    Welp, we fucked up somewhere.

  • Why does this make me laugh so much

  • Why can't I hold all these lies!?

  • @wesleyfilms Use a plate

  • Lmao song made me bursted into laughter

Well technically, it does have infinite quests, more than enough to bore a person to death

  • Fuck I love this thing

  • SKYRIM WILL NOT HAVE WEREWOLVES

  • @MisterScorpius What? Skyrim has Werewolves, and infact you can become one by doing the Companion quest. Get your shit straight nigga.

  • @BloXboX37 You're stupid. Todd said that "Skyrim will not have werewolves" aka a lie. Go play in traffic nigger.

  • @BloXboX37 Todd claimed otherwise.

  • @MisterScorpius TELL ME LIES, TELL ME SWEET LITTLE LIES!

  • by the words 'infinite', it reads as 'there lots of fetch quest, take this thing to that guy or get me something inside that dungeon'

    it's not entirely lies.

even if it lies, it sure better than Fable 3 lies.

  • Of course the "infinite quests" are all going to be the same, what kind of fucking retard would expect an infinite amount of unique quests? There's plenty of other content to keep you occupied, spoilt cunts

  • He wasn't lying, he just never mentioned that the infinite quest system would just be a bunch of fetch quests.

  • Yes Todd! Tell me your lies so I can set my expectations fantastically high and be disappointed when you offer PC gamers a shitty console port.

  • As seen on: spiler/ /ṽ/ - El Vidyo /spoiler

  • I'm more surprised that anyone thought this was possible in the first place to be honest, because that's rediculous.

  • @ShakerBadguy Rediculous?

  • @ShakerBadguy Well it does 'have' unlimited quests, the same as Oblivion 'had' Radiant AI. The problem is they're just randomly generated out of a small pool of options and thrown into a quest. Basically just there to make sure you can get some quick dosh.

  • @ShakerBadguy Minecraft has almost infinite worlds to explore, or at least the number of different seeds that produce different algorithmically generated worlds is so large that you could not explore them all in your lifetime. That said, Skyrim quests could have been algorithmic, with randomly generated NPCs, and challenges based on the player's play style, stats, or perks in order to cater to a specific file. Could have been true. Isn't true.

  • @jvdthwip

Not sure. Placing pixels in 3 dimensions in a pattern is one thing. Randomly generating events that make sense and are entertaining is another.

Coding that would be a bitch. NPCs, locations, items, dialogue. The two major problems are locations and dialogue. Both of these things are finite, no matter what you do. At least in a TES game.

The problem being that voice acting is the cancer killing RPGs and that TESV takes place in a predetermined environment that you can not expand.

  • @1Usernamehere1 Ah yes, voiceacting makes it a problem. Also, seeded algorithmic dungeons would more resemble Oblivion's samey dungeons and Oblivion gates than Skyrim's hand crafted dungeons, i.e. boring, so even if there were infinite quests possible, they could get very samey very fast. I just hope that with id software as part of Bethesda, they can actually get a decent engine going (id tech 5: no dynamic lighting; creation/gamebryo: poorly coded physics and character animations)

  • @jvdthwip

Well, Skyrim's dungeons are still samey. There are just more types of them. I went through about 15 draugr dungeons and can barely remember a single one. It's all the same. Would have helped if they added little scripted scenes into each dungeon.

I think Besethda is just lazy. They will never go past mediocrity. You see, thanks to marketing, they get tons of money regardless of the quality of their games. All they need to do is polish a previous game a bit and make a new setting.

  • @1Usernamehere1 Why would you want scripted events? That would be awful.

  • @shilipsy

    What? Why?

  • @1Usernamehere1 imagine the same scripted events happening every time you go into that dungeon, it would get old fast.

  • @shilipsy

I'm talking about a unique scripted scene and a story for every dungeon.

  • @shilipsy the scripted events would only happen once, since once you defeat the dungeon, new enemies/minibosses/etc. are already defeated, and loot it already collected. Similar to the spawning draugr from walls or some of the bosses in these dungeons (or the House of Horrors quest, which was awesome). As it stands there's too many of the same kinds of dungeons, or forts/prisons which only have placed enemies and perhaps a book/scroll or two for back plot.

  • @ShakerBadguy b-but.... he promised it

  • @ShakerBadguy Penis.

  • @ShakerBadguy I'm surprised that you can't spell ridiculous correctly.

  • @ShakerBadguy It's the 2011, anything in software can be done nowadays.

  • @ShakerBadguy No it's not.

    It's just very difficult.

  • @NephosVG Well in the best case scenario it would've almost definitely still came down to a "Go to X then find X and then X it" kind of formula, regardless of the amount of variables it still wouldn't be infinite, nor interesting. Unless i'm missing something here of course.

  • TODD LIED WE DIED

  • Hmmmm....Fleetwood Mac. They'd never lie.

  • has this guy ever responded to any of these lies when they are pointed out?

  • @skiie Umm. Why would he? He's a developer that makes games for people that fit his shit dont you get it? You may hate it, someone else loves it.

At the E3 Demo a guy made a joke about how the horse had no armor, a joke about an Oblivion DLC the community came up with. And Todd said "You guys can make jokes and joke all you want!" So im guessing he'd respond the same to this vid

  • @BloXboX37 well I mean I did buy and play the game I'm just wondering why anyone would say you can do something and then not be able to do it at all or not have said thing. because imagine someone seeing those vids then hyping that paticular part about it to a friend and then having the game release and it not happening. Now the guy looks like a dick.

  • @skiie I haven't seen a video of Todd Howard saying there are infinite quests. And this is buisness, maybe he lied to hype people up? Either way. I dont think so. Todd is a nice man, and the games Bethesda make are also really neat.

Anyone who has played a Bethesda game knows that Todd doesnt include everything he says.

  • Heh, someone reported my video! They must have been pretty angry.

  • Just put "repeat" after "youtube" in the link to make it loop.

  • todd howard is so cute

  • @IMADRWILY are you gay ?

  • @Load0Sheep yes~

    are you?

  • Dynamic snow.

  • Bandits and Draugr increase in number, not health, when you level up to fight them. Skyrim is on a BRAND NEW ENGINE! It's nothing like gamebryo.

  • "It's not m'aiq the liar, should rename it to Todd the liar."

  • @RaptorBlackz why? He didnt lie about anything, its called radient story

  • There are infinite quests. Dark brotherhood and thief guild quest hubs.

  • Radiant AI

  • Todd Howard, the Ondore of 2011

  • i can sense that some creepy dude is masturbating to his monitor....

  • People of the internet, to repeat the video, go to your url bar and type "repeat" after "youtube". You should end up with "youtuberepeat(dot)com". Enjoy.

  • I got a quest to bring 10 bear pelts. IF I WANTED WOW I WOULD PLAY WOW

at least the drop rate is 100%

  • @OrdoMallius Completely different...

  • He stares past your eyes and into your heart

  • i cant stop watching this video. i dont know, it just cracks me up haha

  • Todd Howard

    Don't believe his lies

  • Why do buy people still buy shit from this guy?

  • viralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviralviral

  • He's the new Peter Molyneaux.

  • @TainemE Pffft. Skyrim is everything and more that Fable was said to be.

  • HIS EYE ARE STARING INTO MY SOUL

  • laughed my metaphorical ass off

  • It does have infinite quests(in terms of so many before the game would bug out)... he never said every npc would sound different. otherwise i can't think of any arguments again what he's said about the game. He over exadurated how good PC version would look aainst consoles though

  • So you found M'aiq. I did too, you think u were the only one?

  • Skyrim doesn't have infinite quests. It has 8436903469034672547257258254838568.

  • lim quests -> +inf (Skyrim) = lol

  • The first two generated dark brotherhood quests I did were exactly the same. Same contract giver at the same inn with the same target at the same exact spot. I REALLY wish they would've just given us like 100 generic targets with SOME background info, instead there's just five of those and the pacing of dark brotherhood felt way too fast. They made me think that the questline was more about just killing lots of shit this time (hell yea) but oh then comes the plot dump.

  • I know what he was referring to. For example you have these extra jobs in the thief guild, they're randomly generated from a pool of about 20 quests, and there are about 10 different types, so there you go, 200 generic ones. You can just have one in each category to get the feel of the quest.

  • @MrBarryPe Dark Brotherhood also got such a thing, only you kill your Target...

  • @Honorfull Yes. Once per game week.

WEEK. (Well, I meant Oblivion, Haven't been to the one in Skyrim).

  • @MrBarryPe Nope! =), the DB in skyrim hase them after you finish the last one, and here you actually have to KILL somebody. in Oblivion you could only talk to that statue and listen for hours about the same guy for a mere 200 septims...

  • he only lied to us because he loves us.

  • It was Daggerfall's sidequests all over again.

  • I hate that asshole...

  • Honestly i don't care, there is already so much stuff to do that we don't even need infinite quests. I really don't get why people are pissed off about this, when he said infinite quests i knew what it was going to be from the start... lighten up..

  • aka Fable II lets you do ANYTHING!

  • Everyone knows that kids like to lie a lot, it's only natural Toddler Howard is in on that business too.

  • Should of made a screamer at the end. =/

  • There are infinite quests. But its just going to a different location each time to kill a bandit leader or something.

  • Do journalists even know everybody hates this fag?

  • i farted

  • umm

  • what a shitler

  • Please make it loop.

  • @tom1161 If I knew how.

  • @ThePeterLoew HOOK UP HOW DO YAA LOOP VIDEOS, done

  • @ThePeterLoew you use an annotation to make the video go back to 0:01 or something i forget exactly how it works

  • @ThePeterLoew at the end of the video, put a pause timer that lasts uh, 0.1 seconds i guess, the minimal amount possible.

  • @ThePeterLoew

Pause annotation at the very end of the video that lasts 0 seconds.

  • @ThePeterLoew Google is your friend.

  • @ThePeterLoew Put a zero second pause annotation at the very end of the video.

  • @tom1161 in the URL, change 'tube' to 'repeat'

  • @tom1161 just go on youtube repeat (just type repeat in the URL after the e in youtube)

  • @tom1161 add repeat right after youtube

  • I like the part when Todd Lies.

  • Hey guys, remember when on QuakeCon he said that they'll add high-res textures and new UI for PC version?

    0:00

  • Yeah "infinite quests" meaning go collect 10 flowers for one douchebag, then 10 flowers for another douchebag in the different town. Real innovative.

  • @Bomber0907 Well, they said there would be infinite quests. Not that there will be infinite quests that are actually interesting.

  • It's funny because Todd Howard lies.

  • Todd "Literally Hitler" Howard

  • 5 people are Todd Howard

    thumbs up guise!!!1

  • Todd "Sweetmeats" Howard

  • i want to collect x amount of a generic mob drop forever and ever and ever adn ever

  • Comment removed

  • Meanwhile, at Lionhead studios...

  • Everyone lies deal with it

  • I wonder what The Elder Scrolls say...maybe lies?

Still way better than Mass Effect.

  • I want the Toddler to tell me lies all night long

  • dubs

  • lol'd hard

  • @Gilboron No, sir. Fuck you. Flaws are not a good thing. They are not "charming". Todd is a lying cunt that needs to be removed from Bethesda.

  • @Gilboron

what a faggoty thing to say.

  • @Gilboron

Who's "we"? People with buyer's remorse?

  • Got to bed /v/

  • Main quest is 40 hours!

  • Daggerfall had infinite quests.

The problem is that they are all generic and mostly the same.

Hopefully there are still plenty of hand crafted side quests.
