i realy liked your commentary, the reason why they dont keep up with one game for more than a year is that the only thing cod games do is bringing in a lot of money at the very beginning of its release. But after a few month people stop buying or playing the game cause it just simply sucks (unbalanced, tube, hackers, and such stuff).

@TheScho28 in any call of duty game for the console, matchmaking is divided up into sections of the world predetermined by Infinity Ward/Treyarch, IIRC there are 3 for the United States. The player makeup is determined by random players in your section, if there aren't enough players from your section to make up your game, then other sections are used. The level system is only used for unlocks and e-pride.

Just THINK about it... do you see how quick the matchmaking is in COD4? It dumps you in a game super fast, there's no time for any skill variables to be factored in, same goes for WaW. MW2 takes a little longer because it searches by good connection, and it tells you that, but thats all.

It searches by skill, connection, etc. Unless you see "searching games by rank/skill" the next time you search for a COD match, then it is never searching with rank factored in. Think about it. I know its difficult to use your brain, but just think about how dumb it would be if it matchmade based on a rank you can choose not to go into. xcalizorz is a Prestige 10 on PS3 and he told me theres no difference in who he gets matched against.
