I don't like the way Sarah's sing, nor the way she act in stage. In my opinion she looks too artificial. I prefer Tarja, but Tarja isn't 'perfect' as they say, she's just amazing *-*, she's just truly beatiful. I mean, I don't like of those 'Tarja is a Godess, tarja is always right' and all this stuff. I went to an autograph session and I met Tarja, she is really kind and beautiful. But, come on. It's not like she can cure diseases with her beauty. I truly think it's an exaggeration. Anyway...

Yeah, I agree with you. Definetively Sarah's voice is kinda artificial. That's why I prefer Tarja, I prefer her voice over any other soprano's, without necessarily saying that she be the best one. Of course there are better singers then her, even better than Sarah (Diana Damrau or Sumi Jo for instance). And I met Tarja two 2 years ago, that fact made me love her even more.

I think Tarja voice is really beautifull, in my opinion, her voice is more beautiful than Sarah's, but I must say that Sarah sings better, she's older and studied more. But the truth is that the two singers are awesome. And one more thing: singing high notes is not singing better... have you ever heard to Georgia Brown? She's from Brazil (:D) and she can sing an G8, and I don't think she sings better than Tarja and Sarah... with their Eb5 and E5.

1) Don't come to Tarja videos bashing, because you feel insecure whether or not she's better than Sarah. She is.

2) She's not howling. It's a vocal technique, and Sarah can't do it.

3) It's not a low note. It's as high as Brightman's POTO. It's not even supposed to be in her vocal range.

4) It's not an opinion whether or not someone can sing; it's fact. Tarja sings extremely well. Fact. Better than Brightman? Fact.

3) This is a high note. However, being high isn't everything. Mado Robin, as I've said before, could go much higher than Brightman. So, could Erna Sack, and they weren't the best singers.

I think it's a D in the Phantom! In the original version the highest note is a E, but the Nightwish version the highest note is a D... The last ton is Gm!

It doesn't go up chromatically, it goes up a full tone at a time, i.e. from Ebm to Fm to Gm with the repeated Bb vocal note over the Gm, finally ending with the D.

The end of NW's POTO is not az Eb, it starts from a different point. Sit down with your keyboard and listen/play through the end of an era one. The NW version has very little to do with the original, and Floor has sung the NW version in the christmas metal symphony.

Yes, trust me: IT'S HIGHER. I had the pleasure to be in this show watching Tarja, and I also went to her solo show in Buenos Aires (where she sung Phantom Of The Opera in spanish) and I can tell you: this time her voice reached the sky.
