  • hey what do you recommend to start of with, im looking for something thats about $150. please help!

  • How long does the battery last if I play it nonstop?

  • and for ONLY $350

  • try drifting it with 1:12 scale drift tyre like ABC Hobbies mini drift tyres...i think the Rally gets weird drift movement because the suspension was too hard (for drift purpose), 1:10 scale tyres, and short wheelbase for the 1:10 scale tyres. i was watching how it roll and i think it's stock tyres is not suitable for those 1:10 touring style circuit.

note: stock suspension setup was too stiff for rally purpose (maybe the tyres was too hard), the Rally was bouncing too much LOL

  • I have had it for a few months. It's a gymkhana car. Gymkhana is an art form that involves drifting. It is not "rally", not "drifting", and not "sprint". Gymkhana is a mesh of all 3 and is molded into an art form. If you want a rally, buy the traxxas rally. Ken Block helped design it. He knows what Gymkhana is. My first thoughts when i drove mine was negative but i also bought it to work on/with. Buy new tires, at 60w oil or more, and test, fix, text, fix. Simple. It's a Gymkhana car. NOT RALLY!

  • What were the really grippy tires called??

  • would the original traxxas rally car tires and wheels fit on the ken block edition and can you make grovings in the tires to get better traction

  • It's to bad about the performance. Great looking car. Maybe if they made the STI instead it would have done better. haha

  • i think it struggles to rally big short travel suspension.my traxxas 1/16 slash vxl goes ,dirt ,on road, grass , off road ,snow and much more

  • my traxxas rally vxl ken block wont run. can you help me out??

  • you should do the traxxas mustang

  • @GlastronVXL but it's the same thing?

  • Just wondering how long have you had the car and if you made any improvements to it and what changes you made, Because if you drive a lot of RC cars or trucks you know that if you want to get better you have to have a lot of time with your RC and you have to make changes no matter how rattical it maybe,so my point is you let that RC guy drive it and he had troubles with it, well 5-10-20 minutes driving it and he didn't do well that was a bad review on it so come back in 6 mths and tell me.

  • Hey Jang, watch your video's and there bloody awesome and very informative. Thanks for doing a review on this car and showing that yes it is a fun car, but if your looking for a drift car or off road rally car or a dynamite road race car. then this really isn't it. but it seems like a fun car to play around with. thanks for all your hard work

  • Ok now isthe traxxas rally the same as the fiesta?

  • I enjoy your videos ,you do fantastic work..I would just like to point out that you said that the wheels are 24mm ,and have negetive offset..the stock wheels are 26mm with +4mm offset..

  • @1rcbking Thanks for that note. It's a confusing thing because technically what we RCers call + offset is what the 1:1 scale & real racing world refers to as "negative offset," hence the terminology I was using. For everywhere but the somewhat dumbed-down jargon in RC, the more positive offset (or backspacing) a wheel has, the *narrower* the vehicle is. Negative offset normally means the wheels are pushed further out.

  • What rally car would you recommend?

  • it kept drifting so much that you figured you might as well try it as a drifter?

I guess between that and the 'fanboy' comment it almost seemed like you were determined to not like this car. Maybe I'm just determined to like it...

Anyway, I appreciate you reading, and I appreciate all the amazing info you provide. Keep up the great work.

  • @CardzRC It's sold as a Ken Block Gymkhana car, and the official video shows it driving like a Ken Block Gymkhana car, so I was just trying to get it to drive like a Ken Block Gymkhana car. That involves a lot of drift elements chained together with a little grip driving in between. Just trying to get it to do what it's specifically designed & advertised to do was all.

  • @UltimateRCnetwork Cool I catch your drift now,,, *rimshot, ok ya that was dumb. Thanks for the reply Jang. Think I'll stay away from this car. The body roll is very offputting.

  • Jang, I love your vids and you have helped me ALOT as I've gotten into RC, so please dont take my question as trolling. I was considering buying one of these as my first road car.

You say that it's not designed to be a drifter, so why do you spend so much time talking about it's shortcomings as a drifter? You even put drift tires on it.

I just dont know why you spent so much time on what it's not good at and not designed for, and so little on how it performs in its element? Is it because...

  • would you be able to put the tyers to the 16scall slash on it

  • waterproof?

  • the best rc is the gx buggy soooo i want that badly

  • Hey Jang, I'm new to rc, and I want to remove my motor for a brushless one. Could you make a video on how to remove an rc car motor, and how to put in an rc car motor? Thanks!

  • ive noticed locking up your diff doesnt work for me i just use lose diff

  • So with a new set of tires, suspension and shock bodies, this can essentially be transformed into an e-revo?

  • Just buy a dbox from hpi and you'll be good.

  • I have a boss 302 witch is the sme thing with a different body. I stuck some electrical tape to the bottom and I drift fine. If you raise the ride Hight all the way it will be level no body roll won't bottom out and it Will drift

  • i have a Monster Mutt.

  • I bought 4 of them and I broke them all

  • i think it would have done better if they had just kept the raised suspension, had a longer body at the bottom, so it could actually clear some ground

  • put slits in the tires

  • i have one i own 4 traxxas protectes

  • would you recommend this or a different on road car

  • Hey Jang i was just wondering if you could tell me a better drift car for around the same price? Great vid by the way!

  • Man, you've got me worried now. Just went to the hobby shop yesterday(Friday) and ordered one. The other car I was looking at was a sprint 2 drift/flux, but I've heard that they eat belts... Do you think that a sway bar kit would help?

Not sure if I could cancel the order at this point, and I'd feel kinda bad trying... after asking him to order one in.

Is there anything else out there that's drifty and as durable/weatherproof as the Traxxas? I'd prefer brushless. I'm a bit new to this stuff.

  • Were you trying to copy top gear

  • @jaredscoots1 I think so, if you've seen the best value in rc car motors in the world video, he does the Jeremy clarkson "in the world" impression.

  • Looks frustrating to me!

  • so what brand were your race rubber tires?

  • haha hpi racing is just plain better

  • Use it as a mud runner

  • Brilliant video, I'm glad I watched this before spending £200+!

  • "this is the footage I would show if I was the manufacturer... or a fanboy..."

    lolol

  • Comment removed

  • so what do you think it should make this thing better?

  • jang review the regular traxxas rally it has better drifting and better spins check it out

  • Jang i love your top gear impersonations.

  • is that thing 4 wheel drive?

  • I think the main problem here is the power and the short wheelbase which makes the car just want to spin around each time you throw the rear far enough out to start a drift. These have a 206mm wheelbase and I have the same problem driving my 210mm wb Cup Racer (with something as mild as a 23T Sport tuned) Its still a lot of fun and I'd still be driving it if it wasn't for the tendency for it to get bits of pavement between the spur and pinion.

  • @Digitalshakespeare - The Cup racer I mean. I don't have a VXL

  • you all might say how much of a bad car this is but my local track has only had two traxxas classes and one was the slash of coourse but the other is the rally so that tells me this is like traxxas's second best car

  • @cory45x or it tells you that they are both so bad at racing that they cant compete with other racers such as the SC10 or Blitz and are put in there own class. kind of like a B team. just not nearly as good as the A team

  • at least its sliding.

  • are these 1/16 Drift tires?

  • I jumped my traxxas slash off of that.

  • * body roll is cuz of soft suspension

  • I have a couple of questions, can the ride height be lowered? Can the suspension be stiffened? That's what his car is like, super low ride height, and the stiffest suspension possible, that's why there is so much body roll

  • Nice review but I've seen some videos, home made, of this car doing great gymkhana slides and drifts. Do you just have to master it to be good at the drifts for this car?

  • @superdowg316Videos No, you need the perfect rare surface (polished laminate or just the right texture of asphalt with coarse round sand over top), and/or a lot of video editing to make it look like it's drifting with ease and not spinning out 8/10 times, and/or a lot of setup changes and/or a gyro.

  • hey does this car drift well??

  • @NeffBoy9 the REAL car does, this RC car doesn't

  • hey u think i could mount that body on a tamiya mini

  • @ urc what will be an awesome off road rally tires ?

  • Comment removed

  • hey Jang is there any off road tires u would use for a off-road track?

  • I saw some videos and they say it it is a very good car and we see them drifting, is it really a good care or is it the guy of the video not familiar with drifting?

  • @PBLsnake It is able to drift in stock form with some success on a very, very limited number of surfaces. Polished hardwood and smooth asphalt with a thin layer of very fine round gravel or sand seem to be the two that work best.

  • @UltimateRCnetwork Ok thanks and i assume the best is to buy an off road car if i don't want to spend money on upgrades?

  • its a off road chassis trying. thats like trying to make a g to be a on-road chassis. what a surprise when it turns out its not very good at both. thats the same as trying to make a strictly street car into a baja truck its gonna suck at both

  • hi got a question for ya ;)

this car is an out of the box drift car but is there any way to make it a non drift car? like a car that would be used to race not to drift...any like tire setups n such?? pleasssee reply

  • @steezyboi96 As noted in the review, it's not a good drifter out of the box. Just put any good set of racing slicks, appropriate for the temperature of surface in your area, and it'll drive pretty well. HPI X-Pattern radials in soft compound are a good option too.

  • @UltimateRCnetwork how would u get ride high up higher

  • @steezyboi96 Might as well get a Driftstar if you wanna drift

  • i was thinking about this car but i like off road more

  • the chassis needs to be longer for drifts, would like to see a 1/10 scale vision, that would drift well

  • @UltimateRCnetwork Hey i was wondering could you do a review of the traxxas boss 302 because i was thinking of either getting the ken block or the boss 302.

  • this was a fare review he covered everything its suppose to be able to do l m glad l watched this first before buying one .great job keep up the great reviews!!

  • give it a 3s lipo and the drift style will come to scale!!!

  • people traxxas is a good brand but I just came up with this. notice the servo, it is on the underside. you all know that but i think you have to think about the position off it, with bashers it could get a problem whit rocks especialy in landing on them. thimk about that. ( I don't hate traxxas, I want the e revo but that is something I just think about if it is a good idea on some of their rc cars)

  • worst traxxas ever

  • yeah on road better but is it water proof.

  • @LaughoutLoud1311 yeah its waterproof

  • Good review, but TAKE THE FREAKIN LID OFF SO WE CAN SEE INSIDE!!!!!

  • @SquirmingCoil1 Please watch at least the first 90 seconds of a 14-minute video before commenting on what it includes or excludes.

  • @UltimateRCnetwork

Crap, you're right...somehow I missed that. My apologies.

  • @UltimateRCnetwork

    Actually just 53 seconds...

  • If you are thinking of buying the 1 16 slash you are really should because it is really easy to convert to rally or gymkhana!

Insturctions: remove the front skid plate and replace with #7335/7336

remove mini slash rear posts and replace with #7315

    Paint & fit #7311

Remove wheels and replace with #7372

This means you have an off road and a on road car!

I did this with my slash and it rules! I can drift crazy good.I suggest you buy race tires. With the e revo i changed it to the summit !

  • Hey where I can buy the race sticky tires?

  • How long do the tires usually last on this cuz I ordered mine today

  • do you have a review of the exceed sunfire 1/10 buggy?

  • did yours have the titan 12T motor or brushless motor? i have the brushless one wich drifts insanely

  • @mxdudeguy45 Did ya watch the first 90 seconds of the vid?

  • heyy i have a traxxas 1/16 summit vxl could i just get the tires on the ken block car and put it on my summit

  • I'm not going to offend you, like others because of a review (they all just suck up to Kenny, even if he is the best driver there a bit obsessed), but I think I will still get this car because it is tough, which is really needed if your go to the club I go to !!! :) I all ready own a mini revo so off road is covered already, All I seem to do is break cars apart from the revo!!!

  • Thanks for the info

  • the reason it can't drift well out of the box is the differential i asked my local hobby shop guy

  • @mxdudeguy45 I hate it when hobby shop folks who don't actually know what they're talking about pass off their theories as fact. A real disservice to the hobby community. The other vehicle I showed in this video drifting great with the same drift tires I tried on the Traxxas had open diffs as well.

  • Have you ever tried it on hard wood floor??? maybe that will turn things around for you. After all, you said it didn't work on concrete. So try cement and wood floor and then let us all know how it handles then.

  • @kwsa1595 I've seen that it works nicely on perfectly level, polished & sealed concrete or laminate or perfectly sanded & waxed hardwood. I didn't have any such surface readily available to me, and I wasn't about to go on a search for a rare and perfect surface just to try to make the car look good!

  • smooth floors really aren't that rare, and drifting an AWD car is incredibly different from drifting a RWD car, so you being able to drift RWD drift cars is pretty much irrelevant.

  • @cloud498 Not sure what you're talking about as I've never heard of a RWD RC drift car.

  • Dose it come with batteries

  • its the slick that you have on the car

  • very good review, funny but at the same time giving great information. subbed!

  • when your talking about the bad drifting, did you take the time think that maybe your just a bad drifter

  • @JonChavezchannel Did you take the time to watch the part of the video that shows me drifting another car for the *very* first time, with absolutely no special setup, perfectly fine? Did you take the time to look at other videos of me drifting other cars just fine? Thanks for taking the time to take the time.

  • @UltimateRCnetwork yeah I did and then I hit cancel to stop the post. but i guess it didn't work

  • me: ok soo if it doesnt do grip well and it doesnt do drift well then what doesnt it do?

    (flash of light)

Ken Block: it does Gymkhana. Here's a pair of DC's kid. Don't be a tool... Stay in school.

(Ken Bock drives away in style)

  • HELP im buying this in the uk on amazon will tge plug be uk or will i need a america 2 uk converson plug thankz

  • @chuggy44 yes u do need one!

  • ive got a question jang can you use 1/16 slash tires and make this better for offroad or are they too big

  • @RazzlePlatinum too big use 1/16 e revo tires

  • Is it possible to convert this into a revo? If yes what do I need??

  • you going to review the boss 302? it looks cool but it seems like it wouldnt do very well

  • @carfreak427able its the same thing just with a different body lol

  • This car CAN drift. I've driven one on a track half as wide as the track you're driving on with drift tires on and sure it's easier to spinout than a 1/10 drift car(because of the shorter wheelbase), but you still can drift it! If you can't drift it, don't blame the car.

  • well you know at all the ihobby expos they are used on carpet tracks mainly i believe that, thats what it is used for second they cant really have an expo out side(at least Ive never been to one outside) third you can trim the body/or buy a new one that will fit 2.2 wheels and buy off road tires if you do decide to run offroad(stock are 1.9) you may also buy 1.9 off road tires for drifting if not a pro drifter you should buy a gyo to counter steer a drift!

  • this car seems pointless. cant drift, cant rally, cant tour

  • yes ill agree with the front diff wt and drift tire witch make it push alittle more into corner's rather then pull straight or over steer (donut) also high wt shock oil 50+ all around ,also make's a difference in handling drifting better. as for dirt i wont even try that and jump's well again i have a b4 and D4 for that i think they all have there place and if you ecept them for what they are and not somthing your trying to turn them into there awsome ! Thank's for your review .Cheer's:)

  • great review man, thumbs up, it made me run out and get one this week lol

  • I bet you could mount hpi mini and tamiya mini bodies

  • hello jang, big fan. awsome review as always and dead on. box stock rally sucks at everything except going fast and spinning out. but after a hand full of tweaks and no weight added the rally was tamed. i wish i had more video but i do have a short vid of it drifting a buddy made of my traxxas rally. full continuous shots only 2 ugly spinouts but that was my drivings fault :)

    you tube.com /watch?v=sowWtxIp8C4

  • dude, did u guys anouther video? he didnt say 10% of the shit u guys are accussing him of, IM a traxxas Fanboy, and I KNOW they are not the best at ON road vehicles. hes absolutly right, and he even said the handeling was DECENT. and hes absolutly right, its NOT the best, and NOT the worst. he even stated u should buy it depending on who u are, and u can do stuff with it. you guys have obviously never seen a video when he doesnt like a product. this is NOT it. hes absolutly dead on!

U dont know anything about an RC car until you have at least DRIVEN it. not to mention his experience, You guys have

  • i mean i know people put them in drift cars it might help since it wants to spin out all the time

  • @UltimateRCnetwork

would you consider putting in a gyro into this car? I would love to see if it is worth it to do for mine, and I really do not completely understand how it works. I know a lot of people think that this takes the skill out of driving, but I thought it would just be fun to help prevent the spin outs.

    Thanks

  • What about as just a kind of all-around-basher? Parking lot, around work, around the house, etc? Just a car to pull out and goof around with. Thoughts?

Thanks for the candid reviews, much appreciated.

  • @scrubby4130 That is what I use the car for and I love it!

  • What would be a purpose built 1/10 rally car other than the kyosho drx because I can't find any?

  • At least it looks cool as hell, even though it apparently sucks for every type of driving. ;)

  • Great reviews. RTR RC car should perform as advertized right out of the box with maybe only minor adjustments needed. If it doesn't than the car isn't good. I've learned that long ego about most products. For example, recently I bought SC10 and I still drive it with original settings and it does what is advertised. I also bought Acme Raptor which is complete rubish but the promo vids looked so good.....

  • you should try the slash 1/16 scale. i drove it i a skate park and it did great. the stearing was great because the treads are better. it could even go off the 12 foot backwards and upside down. even on the brushed edition it got 4 feet in the air!! i will post a vid soon. right now i am converting to a brushless edition but i dont have the vxl 3m yet. and it clings to snow without getting stuck. did a front flip off the 6 bowl yesterday. please reply!!

  • i have a 1/16 slash brushed edition and in steers fine because it has better treads. i used it in a skate park and it was awesome!! it handled well and could handle going off the 12 foot bowl upside down without any damage. you should try one they are only 160 in brushed and 260 in brushed. please reply!

  • @theMRproductions99 your right, just like the revo. But at a track compared to other cars, it is NOT the best, or even close to Competative. Hes NOT saying you cant have a blast, shouldnt buy it or anything. Just that chassis is designed for OFF road, and is NOT the best for on road. the 1/16 revo that is the same car kicks ass, he said alot more likes than dislikes, but he had tonz of experience with RCs and ALOT to compare to! he didnt bash this car in any way shape or form, he liked it!

  • @TheABSoLooT1 just saying that the 1/16 slash and 1/16 revo are better because they have more options

  • I think my comments were deleted when did the vid to vote on either the ""XTM FAIL"" or this traxxas Junk. I think I said something on the lines of Neither they both are chit... And wow Was I right.. Should have done Kyosho inferno VE..... Not some xtm chit pile. AND its the same money at 400.00

  • Hey Jang, great review! Anybody who's saying otherwise is just feeling butthurt because you didn't praise their precious Traxxas Rally VXL. If a product is a bad value, the entire community should know about it. Thanks for taking time and money out of your life to help us out!

  • Jang, I liked your review. I would not bothered with the dirt portion seeing it had street tires. But it clearly shows the good and bad of the car. The only reason I would want this car, is to drive it like Ken Block and I doesn't look like it does that very well. Fun car otherwise.

  • Thanks for the great review! I was almost buying a rally last year but backed off because from what I knew about my MERV's chassis, I kind of expected something like this. That impression was backed up by some early videos I saw.

A word about rally. Search for "Audi Quattro Rally Group B Total Tribute" on youtube.

Now this my dearest Trolls is a so called 'Rally Car' driven on typical 'Rally'-conditions. There is dirt, jumps and drifts. A car with 'Rally' in its name has to perform likewise.

  • Great review!! Good thing about this car is it is hobby grade. With a few adjustments and time I am sure it can be a blast cutting up turns like the real thing. Well done and thanks for sharing!

  • thanks for being so honest jang!!! reely dosent live up to the hype, at all.... if anyone gives you crap... well, i think theirs about 14 minutes of proof right up there ;)

  • Not sure what your talking about with the wheels not fitting. There are all kinds of rally tires what fit after a 20 second foam bumper trim. Did you really think it would run well off-road with those stock slicks? Back to drifting, you really do have to play around with lead weights before you can drift it. With shifting the weight, i managed to make it a much better drifter. Plus you can purchase the m-erevo tires, body and bumped and basically have a revo. Other than that, not a bad review.

  • @energyrc Interesting. The two I tried are some old Yokomos and some HPI Pirellis on both HPI and Tamiya 0 offset wheels. I had body rub issues unless I jacked the suspension up high. Can you share what combos are confirmed to work without a reasonable suspension setup (not fully preloaded)? That would be really useful info for readers. Cool to hear that you were able to improve the drifting capabilities by adding weight!

  • @UltimateRCnetwork Jang I really hope a few bad apples with not spoil your service for the rest of us! Please shake off the haters and continue the good work!

  • @UltimateRCnetwork I purchased the Kyosho OEM Rally Tires. Just got them in a few days ago and they fit fine with a slight bumper trim. I love them. They make the car act much better on snow. Dirt is covered here, but i'm sure they will work good on dirt too. There is a guy on here that has video with the rally tires. Look up "traxxas rally tires", and you will find it.

  • @UltimateRCnetwork hey sorry for butting into this conversation, but I think tamiya came out with a new rally tire for their m-chassis cars, maybe they would work on the mini rally.

  • well im with jang on this one. there are better options

trx. call it Rally, its not! they should call it gymkhana or something else less misleading then Rally. Rally is a race on dirt and road, so bit of both but this is not.

i got a sprint 2 and regular trx Rally, the sprint is awesome, the trx not so much, as jang finds out...it wants to spin, it doesnt work offroad or on road, using soft tired it gets much better but not good...i own several trx cars a like most, but not this one

  • @CygnusX250 thicker diff oil(50,000wt) will make it handle alot better. tamiya rally block tires work great off road.

  • is this the same as the traxxas 1/16 rally

  • I guess you have the right to have your own opinion, but you can't trash talk a car that isnt made for what you are using it for. If you watch Ken Blocks video, that car looks very hard to control. My friend owns one of these cars and he found you had to make adjustments to fit your driving needs. OBVIOUSLY THIS ISN'T A DIRT CAR! You even said it yourself. Why say this car sucks in dirt if its not a dirt car? I donno i dont think you are accurate on all your reviews. The car didnt look too bad.

  • @carter8026 If I didn't test it on dirt, it would have been an inexcusably incomplete review and the comments would be overflowing with folks rightfully chastising me for not trying it off-road. As I discussed at greater length in the raw off-road driving video, most folks think gravel & dirt when they think "rally" thanks to WRC promo reels even though most "rallying" in the world is actually on asphalt. I don't blame 'em. I miss the HPI RS4 Rally. It was awesome, out of the box, street & dirt.

  • @UltimateRCnetwork I saw your latest video.....i wouldnt call myself a fanboy i personally dont have a favorite but you weren't exactly accurate and i have noticed it in your other videos.......i donno thats just my opinion. Sorry if i offended you

  • @carter8026 You didn't offend me at all. Wasn't thinking of you at all when I said that ;)

  • @UltimateRCnetwork huh ok then

  • @UltimateRCnetwork

DId you ever think about putting a gyro in it just for fun? I know I would like tot see you do a review on it, so I can see if it is worth it to do it to mine. Just a suggestion on how to get more out of the car. Thanks and keep up the good work!

  • @carter8026 If your rasing the question that its not a dirt car, then what is it. It doesn't work on dirt it doesn't work drifting or just normal racing type driving then what is this car? Is it something to look cool on the self?

  • @carter8026 Duh... Jang has always done a kick ass job, and he is just trying to protect consumers and tell the truth and hes absolutly right... this is also coming from a a major traxxas fan but they are NOT the best for on road, and have very few ON ROAD cars. Its based on a off road chassis. U dont even own one, your getting your opinion from what your buddy said, and a "promotional' video made to SELL the car. JANG has TONS of experience.. hmm...BTW he even said it was fun,hes DEAD ON!

  • @carter8026

lol, just admit it, its junk.

  • can you do a review on the ZD racing 1/16 truggy?

  • Jang I feel sorry for you having to deal with people that basically right death threats because you didn't write a good review of a bad product. This review was great! You told your dealings with the traxxas rally. That is how a review should be. BTW Rpe1976 went on another vid of the rally and trashed you. I LOL'd when I saw what he wrote.

  • @PBballer23list THUMBS UP :)

  • @PBballer23list How do you know its a bad product if you don't have it?

  • Thank you for your review, everybody can take a personal position of your point of view. Mine is take different opinions before spend my money, and this channel help me on that. Thank you again.

  • lol at the review haters getting all menstrual

  • Perhaps you should take your own words to heart because " Clearly, by half of what you said," you have shown yourself not to be able to handle criticism very well. You feel free to bash a product, and then you can't handle someone's pointed comments? So much so you "Block" them? If you can't handle the heat perhaps it time to get out of the kitchen.

justfastenough is right on point with this one, especially considering that no RTR that I've ever seen has decent tires.

    U gonna block me too?

  • @rpe1976 I feel free to say when product does nothing well, just as I free to say when one does great. I'm not a hyper-loyalist fanboy, nor am I a brand hater. I evaluate each vehicle on its own merits and how well it performs against what else is out there. Yes, I demand that they perform as advertised and to do *something* well, out of the box.
