Ryan Gosling (Noah) looks so much better without the beard and stuff. He is very charming and looks so young. In real life, he looks so much older and I prefer the younger look :P

Well, the storyline goes:

Allie and Noah love each other. They lose each other because of the poor guy/ rich girl scenario, find each other again etc. etc. When they get old, Allie gets Alzheimer's Disease, where she has moments were she passes out and completely forgets everything, and Noah wrote this notebook that is their love story. Everytime she forgets, he only has to read the story out to her from the NOTEBOOK and she would remember again. Hence naming it the Notebook.
