Why do we not have this adds in Germany? In U.S. a soldier is honored.

As I went to my basic duty at Bundeswehr there was one guy, who gratulated me, and this was an U.S.-Army-Sergeant.

There is not enough done for german soldiers, and I dont think of me, but for the ones who serve in Afghanistan.

Its like the country doesnt care about them.

@Strykercom1 I think so too. We did a lot of damadge. But after over than 60 years of stable democraty and working for peace I think only Germany has still this fears.

At least there is a Medal of Honor and a Medal for Combat Duty right now, while we are changing to a volunteers army of about 180.000 men.

I do recall Europe's gain in the beginning of the war. I do recall how France Germany, Russia and China contributed to this mess. How France and Germany assured Saddam Veto power in the UN to prevent the US invasion. How Russia provided Saddam with military intelligence prior to the invasion. These European/Asian nations made Saddam roar like a lion instead of permitting him to obey the 18th UN resolution PEACEFULLY.
