  • omg!!! ..... =) ...

  • Belly dancers in Indian Electronica....hmmm. What is Indian in this?

  • What is India supposed to be anyway? Brown woman belly dancing? Would that be "Indian" enough?

  • they're cylon skinjobs come to kill us all....don't think that series "battlestar" is all fiction. it's really happening out there. the cylons have found us. we're faacked....

  • there is no belly dancing india... plenty of dancing... just not of the belly type :)

  • Belly dancing entered India well before electronica did.

Anyway, the point is that you can't draw lines on what to put on display in hybrid art of any kind. It all adds to the surrealism.

  • You might be right about not drawing lines in a 'hybrid art form.' But then if you are calling Indian Electronica a hybrid, then it ought not to be called that at all, just something like 'World Electronica.' Infact, even that is too specific because there's no real distinction between this and supposedly 'mainstream' electronica except that it features more 'exotic' sampling.

When you're talking about 'surrealism' what you're really talking about is commercial-orientalism.

  • I'm not the one who called it Indian Electronica. In any case, the artists decide what they want to call it (and where they want to fit: mainstream, indie or whatever).

When I'm talking about surrealism, what I'm really talking about is surrealism. Of course, you can choose to decipher it as whatever you want.

  • increible....que pena no vivir en toronto...alguien conoce el nombre de la cancion?

  • I was London in August never saw anything about your show. Pretending to be touring the world...hmmm. Would you like to put venue times and names so we can follow?
