Yes, Giovanna, and this is why it is a wonderful thing - that our legal system's basic principle is "innocent until proven guilty" because when someone accuses an American citizen of a crime, it is incumbent upon the accuser to prove guilt, NOT the innocent to prove innocence.
And that proof did not come forth, even after more than one raid on MJ's homes.

Actually it might have been Etta James. Chuck Berry gets my vote. All were far more influential than MJ. Think how many time Chuck Berry was covered by other musicians. From the Beachboys to Jimi Hendrix and ZZTop, we All covered Chuck. I can think of at least a dozen black musicians who were more influential.
