Dude do you know about Apple Intermediate Codec formats Acrez? If you use MPEG Streamclip you can export your camera footage or whatever as a quicktime movie with apple intermediate codec. Then if you go to final cut, select "easy setup" and change the preset to "Apple Intermediate Codec 720p 30" you can edit much faster.

You missed a hell of a lot out but i understand its for beginners and there called in and out points, markers are when you press M. Pen tools for fades, masks etc., But yeh i guess it will help the noobs xD

buy an external hdd or delete some files man! you only have around 6 gigs free and if you have 10 or less gigs it slows your processor to optimize memory! great vid btw.

premiere pro is better for mac cause you don't have to render each time you import a clip also you can have after effects plugins in premiere also the rendering is a lot better.

@ratedfx I only have one other Final Cut tutorial up at the moment (Colour Correction) and as I am going to be focusing a lot more on Final Cut and After Effects I thought it would be best to start with the basics then work our way up to more advanced stuff, what you think? :D
