yea when i download games they are all exes(windows). But hey! I can do without a couple games, but thats just me. i have a mac i know and love so why switch to a PC? my suggestion is, gamers and business types go for PCs, and multimedia editors will love macs

@seanykc not really. most of the time when a mac hangs or crashes it's because of a flaw in the actual OS that apple never took care of. most of the time when windows crashes or hangs it's because of a flaw in some third party software that someone downloaded that nobody bothered to take care of. when i say most of the time i mean about 65% for mac and 80% for windows.

PC? You dont need to restart your PC, if you use Linux ofcourse. The Fedora Linux is easiest to install of OS:s of today. Just press "yes" couple times. Its made for idiots too, its ready to be used after you install it and the web browser is easy to locate...

I beg to differ with this commercial, I've used newer Apples before that have frozen. At least with a PC you can reboot it. With Macs you have to unplug everything and god help you if you have a battery in it. -_-

I've had to work on several macs before, and some had the tendency to freeze and I'd be unable to restart the damn thing.

Mac is basically a media center from my experiences with it. While it performs in regards to "Work" and the such, I think its made for media hence all the I-Stuff. I'd be hard pressed to say a Mac or a PC suck.

i love my pc as well but alltho when a mac finally FEELS like doing somehting it isn't that bad almost comparible to a pc but most of the time its the oppisit now since pc's rarely carsh now if u take normal actions to it like scans and defrag's but macs just well feel like they worked enough just turning on and take a break for a couple minutes and well eventually shutdown especially when ur doing something important!

Just because Norton doesn't tell you you have a virus doesn't mean you don't have one, silly. With Windows, you can get one from any number of websites. Definitely the vast majority. Of course, if all you visit is youtube, google, and apple, you might have a chance and never getting one. ;)

Oh really, cause I've been using computers for years, and know for a fact that viruses tend to come to people who spend a lot of time on the internet. And, the more fun you have on the web, the more viruses will attack you. So only the people having the most FUN are getting viruses as... a sort of cost!

Windows doesn't suck, but I'll admit it isn't perfect. If a lot of people switched to Mac, then maybe there would be more 3rd party developement and more applications for the Mac, which would make it work for a lot of people. The problem is no one is going to switch until this happens, and this will only happen when people switch. Sucks, eh? :P
