radio,concerts,music videos,variety shows, artists & music itself (both local and foreign) would never be the same anymore unlike the 1990s. so as the quality of artists. today, it seems anyone can just easily have an album, a music video or a concert even w/o talent- as long he can afford it. the 2000 era is so postmodern it seems there's nothing left to try as almost all have already been done in the past. all u can hear now is always revival of songs-no new compositions.

@6digit I agree with you. I was also grade 6 that time. Watching MTV and listening to radio now are full of crap. Most songs produced today don't sound natural anymore (perhaps due to technology). Also, most are just revivals. As for artists, mostly are mere 'one-hit makers'. No could stay like a legend. And it seems anyone can just make a music video of their own. Music awards are also crap. its just pure commercialism nowadays. Add the fact that piracy boomed when 90s was about to end :-(
