Oh, well there arn't as many, but there are plenty of melo-death bands with higher ranged singing as well as death growls, give scar symmetry a try, there similar to into eternity, they just don't do the shrieking vocals.

I still enjoy SS, it's really not all that different, just the clean vocals are a bit weaker. The growler sounds almost identical and musically the new album is more progressive so I can overlook it's faults.

@rumzsk8 he's not talking about Suicide SIlence, he's talking about Scar Symmetry, which is another great largely unknown band, and probably won't be known too much since Christian Alvenstam left, also, for those who wonder how to listen to him now, listen to Miseration or Solution .45, he's the singer in both, and personally, I think Chris Krall was the best Into Eternity singer, too bad he left after the one album he did :(
