  • TARKESHWAR KUMAR SHARMA HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012

  • Rafiji ki madhur awaz aur sexophone mast dhun i love this song

  • It is a tribute to Rafi"s genius, that when a movie clip is shown with his songs, people comment on the singer, but when one of the female singers is shown, people comment on the beauty of the actress(particularly Madhubala) !

  • @WorldOnWeb84 ITS SO SAD TO HEAR THAT THIS GREAT ACTOR IS NO MORE WITH US.MAY GOD BLESS HIS SOUL :(

  • shammi kapoor is my all time favourite. I love him forever.

  • I agree with Kiran Gopal view that in those days there were great singers who brought us many melodous songs but i am of the opinion that there were many contribution of great musicians who composed with hard work such great melodious songs we still love to listen to these songs

  • M.Rafi provides the original melody of songs,,,,it is quit unbelivable that such a great singer too face "up and downs" in his singing carrier ...........

  • Thanks for uploading this nice song......and I don't have word to praise Rafi Sb. but....................

An article in Times of India, published on 24 July 2010 sums up his voice as, "If there are 101 ways of saying "I love you" in a song, Mohammed Rafi knew them all. The awkwardness of puppy love, the friskiness of teen romance, the philosophy of unrequited love and the anguish of heartbreak - he could explore every crevice of ardour..

  • I LOVE RAFI SAHEB, KISHOR DA, MUKESHJI, LATAJI & ASHA JI MANNAY DEY, HEMANT KUMAR, MAHENDRA KAPOOR BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL TALENTED CREATIVE LEGENDS!

TO ALL THE ENEMIES OF HUMANITY - FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN CULTURES/RELIGIONS, GUESS WHAT MY RELIGION IS??

YOU GUESSED IT; IT DOESNT MATTER !

WHAT MATTERS IS RESPECT AND LOVE FOR ALL GIFTED PEOPLE WHO HAVE LEFT A LEGACY BEHIND FOR US!

    MAY GOD BLESS THEM ALL!

  • RAFI SAHEB HAS LEFT HIS SOUL IN EACH AND EVERY SONG HE SANG!

  • I THINK RAFI SAHEB IS REBORN " SAU SAU BAAR" EVERYTIME HIS SONGS ARE PLAYED!

  • If Mohd. Rafi is not Bharat Ratna then I do not know who else should be!

  • There will never be another singer like Mohd Rafi. Why did he have go so early ? You are immortalised by your songs, Rafi. Long live your voice. RIP.

  • Great song, great melody and lyrics,my favorite, have watched numerius times now but still feel it fresh every time i watch it

  • salaaaaa darubaaaaaaaaj

  • Rafi saab forever

  • Tuuuunnnneeee..too gud!

  • ANOTHER superb creation by SHANKER-JAIKISHEN. Their music was EVERGREEN for all their films for Shammi/Raj/Rajendra Kumar films in the 60s.

  • great song

  • Hindi songs dont come like this anymore. The best. Thanks rajshri.

  • None of today's singers can match Mohammad Rafi. Many have tried and still trying, but have failed. Some are trying to revive Mohd Rafi but how can you revive him when he never died. No radio station in the world has ever stopped playing his songs. His songs are still being played more than any singer's songs.

    Great song.

Credits also to Shammi Kapoor. He had a style of his own.

  • @cpepefilms In one of the functions recently, which took place in Bombay where Rafi Sahab's academy is launched, Shammi ji said that he would have been nothing without Rafi saab's voice. That's a great comment by a great actor. So down to earth.

  • Shammi Kapoor!

  • @rafie282000 to maine kab kaha ki wo hits nahi dete the lekin Rafi sahab is the KING of all

  • @GUARAVG hey don't say like that, all are legends of their own time and best in themselves!!!

  • @MultiRockzz All were legends I agree but king of them was Rafi Sahab.

  • @GUARAVG agreed!

  • There was and is ONLY ONE Mohammed Rafi - His like will not be seen again ! Rafi Sahib's name will live in the annals of music! He is the nineth Wonder Of The World - He proved it so by singing this amazing beauty of a song ! Long Live Mohammed Rafi Sahib - The KING !

  • I really bow at the feet of Rafi.

But ALL the singers of that time had SOMETHING or the other unique to contribute.

Hemant, Talat, Mahendra, C.Ramchandra ( who sang as well as directed ), Mukesh, and of course Kishoreda, all had wonderful voices and styles of their own. Isn't that obvious?

[ Maybe I have left some out above ]

They are all immortal. We Indians are so fortunate. I don't believe in praising one over the others too much.

  • @KiranGopalAshtekar

No, I think there is nothing wrong in comparing singers and praising one over other. If many people are praising someone *too much* over the others in his league, that means that person really had something extra in him. Everything in the world is relative, and Rafi was cannot be reached, or matched even remotely.

  • @KiranGopalAshtekar well said bro...........

  • @KiranGopalAshtekar

Kiran, totally agree with you......Rafi saab is immortal.....only blessed by all gods together can give a voice like him, and that i believe happens only once in 1000 yrs......and we've had-it......feel totally blessed.....

  • The first time I hear this song it was so fascinating.Shammi Kapoor acting was very impressing. But those days were gone and there will be no more of such acting in the Hindi film industry.Such voice as Mohd Rafi can never be heard again after he has gone to another world.Luckily most of the songs are nicely recorded for the future generation.

  • my most favourate song . thx for uploading.

  • Well, I still think Shammi Kapoor was not natural hero but I like him rather than Rajesh khanna or Dev Anand. His movie are much enjoyable with extremely excellent song as this one. I watched this movie and is excellent if it is the only film on this subject but people copy this film hundred times after the release of this film. Thanks for posting.
