Ninja 250? Stock tires? I did almost the exact same thing. Inexperience and stupidity played a bigger role than anything, but those stock dunlops are useless. Good on ya for wearing the gear.
DEfinately looks like a classic situation of " Object fixation ". your brain told you were going too fast and you steered yourself off the road. Of course thats all depending on the health of your Brakes, tires, and suspension. You should do more low speed turns before trying to be so "throttle happy "
Your failure began when you decided to go that fraking fast on the street. The crash was merely a forgone conclusion of very poor judgement. Glad you didn't hit a bicyclist or jogger, Mr. Considerate.
@aligerous yeah, that wasnt really that fast at all in that turn for a motorcycle, a better rider can turn thru there at a faster speed easily, thats why i was saying how did this guy crash? its almost like he just didnt turn at all, or got confused between braking, shifting down, turning, at same time? iono
@nicoj36 Your comment is noted, however, "can" doesn't mean "should." Judgement and responsibility really ought to come into play when taking to a public roadway. Neither was exhibited in this video.
i'm with 993ti. pure n00b reaction. you weren't NEARLY going "too fast" for the bikes capabilities, just your own. that all comes with practice and experience. "kodak courage," as i call it, doesn't help. ;) (i make motorbike videos too). glad to hear you were wearing full gear, man!
At first I thought you were just pulling off to check your camera mount and hit some wet leaves which brought you down. Hope there isn't too much damage to the bike.
I really don't get this vid. It looks like before you went into the turn you panicked and didn't even lean. I mean, you went down before the turn lol. From the looks of it, that turn was not too sharp for the speed you were going. Be careful and get some lessons b4 going out again. Rubber side down, shiny side up! Good luck!
Nice Gear Bro, but take it easy, if u could afford that gear maybe u should take a track day or MSF course that would help you alot , Crashig while you are learning sucks, but I´m sure you will improve. Good luck.
lol? Did you forget how to lean? Looks like you had a brain fart and forgot what to do. You weren't going too fast...well for your skill level you were lol.
I believe you are not looking far enough ahead cause you are too focused on the entry point of the turn, got a bit surprised by the on coming car and try to slow down by braking, but did not compensate with body position. Bike stands up and runs wide.
Shit happens.... good thing you weren't injured There's 2 kinds of riders... " those that go down & those that will go down" I crashed a bunch of times but it well never stop me from doing what I love "Ride hard be safe live free die later!"
You made up your mind before you ever got into the curve that you were gonna crash, you pulled the clutch in and rode the bike STRAIGHT into the ditch, you didnt try to brake or lean to make the very small curve, its called "target fixation" you panicked and crashed. You went into the small curve too fast for your ability and didnt know how to pull it out.
PLEASE take time to learn to ride before you hurt yourself or someone else.
