hackerb9: one of the advantages of using one python interpreter is that you don't spend time loading the applets. So yes having a single python process make things faster (but it has a lot of drawbacks too.)
Although it should be possible to use tichy instead of paroli, I have never tried to run it on the official openmoko images.
I mostly used debian to try it. SHR works as well (even though for some reason it is quite slow on it).

Looks swift. Is that because it uses one Python interpreter? Is Tichy usable now as a replacement for Paroli?
