Hydrogen burns with a clear almost invisable flame and much faster than this. what are you using as electrolyte and electrodes. By the look of the flame there is some carbon in there and maybe Sodium Hydroxide as electrolyte?
I have now made +N- -N+ +N-. This works really well. Maybe because my plate spacing is too far as I using standard plastic washers. Further testing is needed. I am trying different solutions. Best results I have had with 1/8 Teaspoon Salt & 1/2 Teaspoon Bicarb Soda.
SmartScarecrow has been explaining a lot about HHO and the various systems to me over the past couple of weeks. He says the best voltage for max production and least heat build up for each plate should be between 2.5 - 3v.
So if running from a 12V source, you should have, in theory, 3 neutral plates. That makes +NNN-, so 4 gaps between each plate, each gap divides the overall voltage, so 12v divided into 4 gaps = 3v per gap.
What you will notice is that +/- looks like more violent raction than +nnn-. in fact +/- will create more gas but at cost in terms of heat. the gas will be weak with high amount of steam.
the real test is milliters of gas per minute, per watt of engergy used. and being able to run the device for extended periods without it over heating.
the neutral plate arrangment will help to tame your volts so you dont over heat. but will not give more gas.
So the more violent reaction is deceiving then?I guess you wouldn't know until you test
aj, I made a really simple measuring device. I got 2 plastic bottles,1 bigger than the other and glued a tube into the bottom of one and going up. Filled it up with water then placed the smaller bottle on top.Filled that with water by pushing down and letting air escape out of tube, then connecting the tube from measuring device to your cell and timing how long it takes to lift the bottle out of the water.
MadStu, I will get round to doing a gas per minute test this weekend hopefully. I will try to measure everything I can. Will post results as soon as I have them.

somehow this posted on wrong video, sorry about that.

i just tried the +NNN-.
Not great results.

I used salt in my 2nd from last cell, it ate the electrodes and they snapped during use. That was with 316 grade steel wire.
It would be nice if you could show your actual plates and how they're put together on a video.

Will post on another video

Anything over 3V does nothing to contribute to creating more HHO, only more heat apparently. Might be something to consider.

Nice, let us know when you have output measurements.

Cheers, I think i will add another netural plat to the last set. On the video it looks like the +N- works better than +-

Have you tried this with more Neutral plates yet?

I will try shortly. I will try to make +NNN--NNN+ and see what happens

Me too, I'm just waiting on some steel plates from a supplier, they're cutting it to size for me, so that's handy.
I'll also be swapping the polarity from +NNN-NNN+ to -NNN+NNN- on seperate tests too to see which works best.
