Where did you find the Zr? It is the first time I notice someone uses it in the fireworks. At first I thought it was Ti. Do you see any special effects with Zr that Ti cannot produce?

@sparksnsky Well the Zr i was lucky to get on ebay, its actually welding rods for nuclear reactors! i was lucky to get 4 stk 3.5mm Id and 600mm rods, its some of the most difficult alloy to get the hands on, i have had a small sample of spherical Zr before, and it gave a greenish tail instead of the white that Ti gives, i would believe my filings are too small still, because it looks much like ti, but its not totally alike though, ill try to make bigger salt size chunks from my rods.

@PyrotechnicsNL They need some drying time, but they are ready with the weekend;) the stingers get more sound as in the hummer sound without the metals.

@californiapyro Thanks, good thing was they both seemed to lean abit to the left, should be correct according to the rotation/sentrifugal force, so a 4 some shot is on its way;)

@murdoch2486 These are dialed in as good as i can,ive been working on a new type of engine for a couple of days, just some experimental type,its nothing to use for nice headers, but speed, colour and sound only! you´ll see when im there;)

@murdoch2486 true man, the stinger sound is unique in itself, the other motor im working on now, wow man, never seen it before, exept my mentor got a vid of one, but its not too good audio nor video quality, but take a look at snezzzen´s katja video, you will get a small picture of what im working with these days besides the stingers

No time to sleep. Zr welding source? Wonder why it not produce the citron yellow glow as mine. Maybe my Zr was an alloy. Or yours ;-) Good work and a decent report!

@snezzzen Yes, i remember the spherical too, it gave a greenish! tail in the engines i made, maby i can find the video on a dvd somewere, sometime, and you can see it :)
