T18-101 - a concept for an 18.4 inch convertible tablet pc

This is easily loved as a concept. I like the remote idea maybe it could use an inferred for the mouse (sort of like the wii).

An 18" computer would be far to cumbersome for practical any use aside from gaming :P. Anywhere from 13" to 16" would be perfect. Did I mention I love the built in remote controller idea? lol

The keyboard is cool to just one hint of advice, make it customizable ;). Even something as simple as just changing the colors would do the trick.

@killerwing The 18 inch is a good idea say if you were an artist and wanted to draw on a 18 inch paper for comics or such then the idea of an 18 inch is practical. That way there is no scaling or stretching needed for when the final picture is done. Yes the remote idea is cool. The keyboard I would say is a no go like joshstube said why not just have a virtual key board on screen that can be hidden.

well, that may look pretty as a concept but there is NO way anyone is going to hold that as a tablet.

HASHlRAMA is right, 18 inches is TOO big.

Besides, anything that is that big needs a Real keyboard.

when you have a screen THAT big why wouldn't you just type on the screen if there is not tactile keyboard waiting for you underneath? . . . .
