@MrUberbongo I haven't used WorldEdit recently, but many months ago WorldEdit had some issues importing the track orientations in the station correctly. They may have fixed that in the meantime, but I do know that at least MCEdit imports the station properly.

@FryingGamers In MCEdit, select the area you want to replace, then use the 'Replace' tool to replace all grey wool blocks into whatever block you'd like.

@frumple1 Please add a mechanism to when the dispenser is empty it triggers a RS NOR latch to send the carts to overflow. Because if you press the cart approaching button but the dispenser is empty you can just place a cart and it will mess up the system.

@adriantyw If by simple, you mean easier to use and less complicated-looking, then yeah probably. Making version 4 more complicated to use than version 3 is not what I would call an improvement. :P

@adriantyw I don't really recommend building this station from scratch because of all the different pieces that need to be be put together. Instead, it's much easier to just download the schematics I provided, and import them into your own world using MCEdit.

My point is that unless are really patient and are really good with redstone, you'll find trying to build this station from scratch to be rather frustrating and time-consuming. When I tried to paste this in my Bukkit 1.8.1 server I got a half station without any redstone or mechanics. I also got this error:

3. add an overflow to the arrival bays in case more than 3 players are using the track. the overflow would work like a endless loop, cycling the extra minecarts until a spot opens up.

4. using the extra space for a ticket booth/control room.

@maxweber06 Regarding points 2 and 3, these both will require more room and more complex circuitry. When I designed the station, i tried to balance functionality and aesthetics while also trying to keeping the station as compact as possible. There is certainly some benefit in making the station extensible with more arrival bays for busy servers, but I'm not as keen on the overflow loop as I find that sort of thing can get very complicated and also break easily.

sorry for posting double post but i was experimenting on a few ideas and i have a couple suggestions.

1. for reloading the minecarts you could connected the track directly to the dispenser skipping the human checker or what ever it's called in order to load faster.

2. add multiple departure bays in case the station has more traffic on multiplayer servers.

@maxweber06 Well, some curious fools could just go sit in the cart when putting it in the reloading thingy, and they will get into the dispenser, and getting their chance to mess everything up when the human detector is not there.

@MrVijfhoek In a multiplayer server the reload slot would be controlled by an Admin. Just because someone could load a minecart with a furnace and clog up the track. The point is people love to screw up other peoples hard work and would be best if one or two admins control the stations mechanics. Btw I took a ride in the dispenser once and it didn't mess anything up.

If I ever get around to making the next version of the station, I plan to use a newer, more reliable person detector that involves the cart passing through a stone pressure plate on top of a fence post. That way, the player doesn't need to wait between loading each cart.

@maxweber06 There is a way to not encounter the damage bug by moving the block that's next to the track intersection one space lower and also making sure the redstone wire above it is restored. The disadvantage to this is that you can't walk easily along the bottom track, but generally this is not a big deal.

hey, your station is really fun to play, but there is some few bugs in 1.8 with it, it says the out of memorey error, and some trapdoors dont open probley, and the item chests are black.

@nicolaj0154 Those problems are probably related to beta 1.8 itself, and not the station. I was able to fix the out of memory error by installing 64-bit Java on my 64-bit machine. The wonky trapdoors and chests are more likely issues with MCEdit and how it imports schematics into new 1.8 maps. Ensure you have the latest version of MCEdit when importing.

@frumple1 the black chests are an issue with the new lighting engine. the same thing happens with paintings. simple fix: place a torch down next the the chest, the chest will then receive light. you can also now remove the torch. basically the blocks just needed a lighting update ;)

@Mackinz92 I'm not sure. The interior of the station is well-lit such that no regular mobs will spawn there, but if Zombie Pigmen and Ghasts can spawn anywhere in the nether, then the station won't work well in the nether.

@bradensfriend The schematics you downloaded are not mods, they are files you load in a program called MCEdit. MCEdit allows you to load and edit your own minecraft world and import schematics into them. You can watch some tutorial videos I did on how to import a station on my channel. It's for an older version of my station, but the general priniciples of importing still apply. If you need more help, try searching for other tutorial videos on the basics of how to use MCEdit.
