You should've taken your strings off the guitar first. It's dangerous to leave strings on the ground. Someone can fall on it, or if they wear slippers, a string can poke their skin. Strings are pretty sharp, and from my own knowledge, this guy doesn't know how to take care of his guitar. Sure, some guitars are meant to be smashed, but you gotta do it in a safer way for everybody. If you're on stage, it might be fine to leave the strings on, but on the outside, consider thinking about the public.
