@aliquim4494 You may leave the marshmallows out. I can't think of anything that would be an appropriate replacement, but the salad will still be nice and fluffy with the pineapple-flavored whipped cream.
Omg thx I have tried this before long time ago but now I finally found it ! But one question . Maybe 2, where do u get whipping cream ? And what if we don't have that wisk. Can we do it with a regular whisk ?
@puppy20000 You should be able to find whipping cream right by the milk in your grocery store or supermarket. You may use a hand mixer or beat it by hand. You do not need to whisk it!
Tks Betty for ur prompt reply, and tks again for all the hard work u and Rick are doing for all of us. I am enjoying ur cook books and can't wait for third year in bettys kitchen. God bless ta peri
Hi Betty,as always u r the best for passing your knowledge of cooking to us, one question though can I make this in morning and serve in evening to my guest pls let me know tks god bless ta peri
This one is "different"..meaning I have not seen it before or tasted it. I am always looking for fresh summer salad ideas and this one just seems delightful!
nice..i didn't know you could make your own pudding like that. and the pineapple pudding is a interesting idea. i make my fruit salad using a package of pasachio pudding and i always use coconut and pecan pieces..but i'm gonna give it a go on your pineapple pudding..thanks for the ideas.
The pineapple pudding tastes wonderful, and it isn't much more trouble than a boxed mix. The pistachio flavor is interesting, though, with coconut and pecans. Some nice ideas there! Thanks for commenting!
I don't think it would be quite as good as with the marshmallows, because the marshmallows absorb the pineapple pudding, expand, and add a lot to the texture of the salad. However, it you want to try the marshmallow creme, I think it will still taste great. I would use only 1 cup of the marshmallow creme, as compared to 1 1/2 cups of the marshmallows, because the creme is more dense. Interesting idea! Thanks!!
hey betty can i use pineapple tidbits instead of chunks??
