hmm the d-pad is definitely better to do tricks with. Its more accurate both those trick are easy todo without mapping anything to the right analog stick that is for manual passing which if you dont use learn to it opens the game up to new possibilities .

I have a question,

I tried your tricks many times (also from part 1&2) but they NEVEr work.

I never seen a player of mine do a trick.

Ihave a xbox controllen on the PC. when I touch my D-pad, the player starts movin in that direction instead of doing a trick.

can you help me?

i think it works only on pc to change d-pad with right stick. on pc you go to pes2010-folder and open settings.exe.

I dont know if this is new to anyone but you can hold L2/LT and do most of the tricks with the right stick. Don't believe me? try it! i found out by accident when messing about in training. Just remember to let go of l2 when shooting or passing as it does the stradgies instead.

I cant use the arrow buttons and the stick at the same time. I want to use stick for tricks and arrow buttons for moving but the stick moves the players AND does the tricks.

fifa has better graphics and overall presentation but PES has the most realistic ball physics in any game

FIFA you can do any move you want and if you master it then you can do it anytime you want, right?

Real soccer is not like that, players use a lot of simple tricks and they do amazing tricks maybe once or twice per season, which is a lot like PES
