i have a kuestion for all whos reading this whats betetr turning up all the volume on my amps or turning up all the master volume on my mixer n controling volume from my amps?
The Radio Shack mixer is just fine. Devon you're right about it meeting your needs at this point.
I think half of what's wrong with the world today is over consumption and buying stuff that you just don't need. I have some serious doubt that you will lose any gigs cuz you got a RS mixer instead of a Denon or Pioneer.
Hey I love my Denon dnx-1500s and my dnx -500 rack mixer but that's my choice.
Devon, I'll tell you from experience, that as you load up that SKB rack, its gonna get HEAVY! Its really too big, in my opinion. You would be much better served with 2 SKB racks. A 4-6U rack for your amps, placed on the bottom, and a second 4/10u DJ SKB rack for your mixer, light controller, and other components.
As suggested you gotta update your mixer. Keep the radio shack and only use it for a backup.
A couple more suggestions. Take the extra money and get rack panels to fill your gaps, it will look much cleaner and will keep everything inside from collecting to much dust.
Try to keep your equipment clean, it does not take long for an amp to get dirty inside.
Lose the old school wireless antenna's, you don't want your rack to look like an old TV with rabbit ears.
good thing you did, i was surprice when i saw your other video and how great you talked about your behringer ep2500 but any how the crown is alot better choice but thats my opion no hate for the behringer users each one is its person can use what ever you can buy or prefer ill show my rack soon i got to clen up my gear and cables first lol...thanks for posting..
