Wow, this game really brings back memories. I was 8 or maybe 9 when I last played this and it never sounded quite this good (I had to use PC Speaker sound in those days).
Let me see if I remember these puzzles right... Was it true that with the front door, you have only the top stones on Novice, and top stones and lamps on Standard? (Only Expert had the flamingoes.)
I should note that I HATE sliding-block puzzles even to this day.
I don't get how you got the final code. The three code words were: football, jacks, and bowling. Then you entered Earth Mars Uranus, Jupiter Mars Uranus, and finally Venus Venus Pluto. How did you arrive at this conclusion?
Actually wait, it's Native to Windows 3.1, and usually most games will run in compatibility mode for Win95. I didn't have any trouble running Lost Mind in Windows 98 without any settings at all.
See, it's not that I didn't play games as a child, it's just that nobody remembers the games I played...

I don't get it... What's with this little code box? So you get football, but how do you know the symbols?

It actually runs on Vista, but you have to configure the settings in order for it to be playable

Please do The Lost Mind of Dr. Brain i beseech you.
Katzblager 4 years ago
Well, I have the game. The question is whether it will run in DOSBox, or if I at least have some other viable method for recording it.
If I figure out a way, I'll get back to you.
shadyparadox 4 years ago
Oh, my, yes, that could be tricky.
Well you could use Microsoft Virtual PC but I can't guarantee performance quality.

Lost mind of Dr Brain is Native Windows 95 I think. (Or at least my version is)
